Got this phone as a 2nd phone in case my iphone 5s ran out of battery during the day at work. I've stopped using my iphone as I have an iPad and I can connect through Bluetooth when out and about to the nokia 515 to get data. Was surprised by that. It's battery life is that of the olden days which is a must for me.
We'll impressed with build quality also.
AdamBoy64, 21 Nov 2013What would you use Wi-Fi for on this phone?why would you comment ?
This review looked very old school with the low res screenshots! Reminds me of the days when phones were more than just screen slabs.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2013No wi-fi is deal breaker 4 me!What would you use Wi-Fi for on this phone?
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2013Galaxy note 3 is much better imoyou nailed it bro
i want a candybar smartphone with physical keypad, not a feature phone!
Either petition opera to add night mode or have an opera browser modded with brightness control. I have one before. :)
'Candybar? Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.'
Loved my old 6500c :)
human, 21 Nov 2013Use uc browser for browsing. uc browser has brightness settings.Thank you, I will try it. :-)

My Dad has not kept up with the times technologically. However he is still an independent gentleman of high calibre who does his own business deals.
I can't give him a Lumia or a Galaxy. He wouldn't know what to do with it. I can't give him a low budget feature phone as that wouldn't suit his profile.
However, I can definitely give him this! Elegant yet simple!
Thanks gsmarena for this helpful review (even if it hasn't many details). I didn't know what justify the price of this feature phone. It's a very featured phone for its range.
Nice phone, the point that it isn't smart and has good looks makes me buy it. Less smart features more battery life, i still use 206 and charge only twice a week, with at least couple of hours worth of call every day. Wonder how long this would last
Does anyone noticed that nowadays no phone with the screen around 2.2" have more than 256k colours?
My 4 yo samsung S5200 have a 2.4" screen with 16M colours, the nokia 6500 that was referred in this review had the same. Why the NEW phones have such crummy screens?
Despite not being a nokia fan, I do admire this phone, at least for the design part. It just...beautiful.
