akon, 23 Feb 2014Hey guyzz first I had a lumia 520 and it was lost and now I am gonna buy a budget phone within... moreYou are talking about the best of entry level devices in 2 different platforms (525 in WP, Moto G in android). Choice is completely yours!
Most amazing device I have had in this price range. Got it because my S3 became horrible after the carrier forced update to 4.3 Jellybean. I'm using this Moto G on KitKat 4.4.2 with no problems. I planned on going back to my S3 after the software fix or next update, but I may not now. The S3 has the better camera, but I really don't take a lot of pictures so that isn't a big deal and the camera is decent and better with the KitKat upgrade. If you really need a good camera, use a real camera. I've put my Moto G and S3 side by side with the same wallpaper, both at 50% brightness and the Moto G display looked better. I thought the lack of expandable storage might be an issue, but it hasn't been. Just make sure you spend the extra money for the 16gb version. My battery life has been pretty good. I make it through the day with no problem. Lasts longer than my S3 with it's stock battery and a lot longer than my co-worker's Nexus 5 that people love to compare this to. Wish the RAM was 2GB, but I rarely have any hanging, and cuts had to be made somewhere to justify the cost of the Moto X. The G also doesn't have LTE or NFC. The first isn't a big deal as my speeds are fast enough and the latter I never used on my S3 so I don't miss it. I should also note that I work in an area where reception isn't great, but I can get solid reception while my co-workers with their S4s, S3s, Notes, HTCs, and iPhones have issues holding on to a signal. Most of us are on the same carrier. Anyway, it's a great device, especially for the price without a contract.
Hey guyzz first I had a lumia 520 and it was lost and now I am gonna buy a budget phone within 15000 rs can anyone say wheather to buy moto g or lumia 525/720
I just got my moto g..... It feels awesome to hold MOTO GET in your hand. Its 1.2ghz quad core processor works amazingly ...display quality is good enough to hold your mobile for a day. The user interface is not different from the other android phone but it good to buy this mobile in this amazing range provided by motorola.Google just integrate all the apps of its own (like gmail,Google drive, Google maps etc...). Camera quality is good enough to take picture that will definitely satisfy your objective. Sound quality is also good to play music. Its volume pitch is loud .If you are a gamer then this phone will definitely satisfy your gaming condition.it doesn't even lag in Fifa and asplalt 8. Overall this phone is great in your budget.
I got my moto g yday .. I have concern about battery uses...display taking 75% even I have did very low brightness and timeout as 15sec... Is it normal behaviour in moto g?
AnonD-145833, 05 Jan 2014I plan on getting mine this week. Like others have said, it is a bargain because it focuses on... moreyou already have sony xperia zr with 4.5 inch with flagship performance. S4 mini with 4.3 inch is not bad either and it is priced perfectly now. Sony xperia z1 compact is coming with 4.3 inch soon. So what the complaint is all about?
bunny, 07 Feb 2014Which 1 is better, lumia wp or android ? That is a difficult question (WP or Android) to answer. If you already have a WP and are comfortable using it, then it is better to stick to it since you have low/medium budget phones (lumia 525/620/625 etc) available which are still smooth to use. If you are new to smartphones, better go for Android and Moto G is the best in the low budget category.
for 16GB version
can anybody tell me how much memory is available and out of that how much can be used for apps ???
in idle condotion how much of 1GB ram is freely available for use ???
Hey Gaurav wen compared to US version, the following are differences
Available in indian edition - Headset, charger, dual sim, FM unlocked
Not Available - USB cable
My doubt does the indian edition also has the water resistant nano-coating??
Kindly check this link - http://blog.gsmarena.com/motorola-moto-g-handles-water-like-a-champ/
I'm from India and I just managed to pick up the dual sim 16GB Moto G from Flipkart at INR 13999 and a white flip cover at a 70% discount at INR 480 today at the first day of launch. I'm pretty excited. Can't wait for the delivery. (Which btw has been extended to 17th Feb by 10 days :( ...)
They sold out in an hour in the morning. I finally managed to get my order placed in the afternoon. A lot of people (and I mean a lot; check out the flipkart comments section) have been complaining about the shortage of supply (16GB version and royal blue flip cover mostly)
Is this just a marketing strategy? Creating shortage and claiming they have sold out just to hike up sales?
I am moving from 2.3.6 Gingerbread to 4.3 Jellybean . I have researched a lot in price range of 10000₹-20000₹..and it has proved to be the best pick ...i have also got a Lumia 625 and its bigger and also a great choice ..
