AnonD-15385, 01 Jan 2014Third generation? Yes. First to market with a "true" phablet which was worth it? Yes... moreIn 2011, bigger is better trend started it's steps and this is what Sammy have caught. This is why there are R&D departments. Talking about One Max. The ultra-pixel crap and price factor is a deal breaker nevertheless the old chipset.

I do agree. Sammy is on the edge which everyone is wishing for. What my another point is, just now, I mean just now people ended up buying an S4. I am not so sure S5 will be any good since it's releasing a "bit too early" because the last variant of S4 just sighted just 3-4 months ago not to mention there are still people waiting for Note 3. I have yet to see some major improvements besides bumping up specs in Galaxy S line-ups. S3 was a real deal. S4 was a disappointment. Let's see what S5 will have and will it be able to attract those customers who already have not half a year old S4 and they are willing to spend another $700 on S5 or may be they will start reselling their S4(s) for S5.

I find it hard to believe that Samsung will be able to push up S5 for the next 10-20 millions besides of S4 which is just "not-so-old"

AnonD-80609, 01 Jan 2014Well that micro second lag will not hamper user experience. Besides that what else? Yes indeed. As I said, it's hardly noticeable to others but I do get a catchy when I sometimes experience it. It's really nothing though.

I still can't understand why did Nokia's WP navigation software win over Android's Google Maps. Is it because you need to have an internet location? Will any of these future phablets' owners not have a data play? It doesn't make any sense. If you can afford any of these devices you'll probably can afford a data plan and then use google maps that beats any navigation software out there.

You need to know how to get the most out of the camera. The Lumia 1520 pureview easily beats the GS3 so something is wrong with the test results. The BSiG feature that you did NOT cover was reception. Here in Australia we have poor coverage, and the Nokia out performs everything for reception and let's face it, we want our phone to perform as a phone.

No mention about the assertive display on Lumia 1520? That should win the sunlight readability and the overall display contest for Nokia.

AnonD-80609, 01 Jan 2014Are you using Android 1 or 1.6 or even 2.2??? I have a phone with 2.3 and the other with 4.2. ... moreLet's not argue here about scrolling issues of Android. Lime I said before: you will not see that it has issue until you hold windows phone and any android phone face to face. Of course android phone scrolls and that is why technically there are no issues. The problem is it.s way more unpleasant and a bit more shaking than Window's phone scrolling. Just test both phones, god damn it, lol!

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2014Wp is the fastest growing os? Yes. Why? Coz it's not yet a fully developed os. I only said WP OS is growing, not whether it's the fastest growing OS or not, but with new OEM's to make new devices running WP, I think they have a good deal in keeping on the good track.

Maybe Sony will make WP devices too this year. ZTE will make WP devices this year and maybe HTC too.
The quality of apps on WP is very good, if I compare it to my apps in Android, it's most of the times better. For example, the removed youtube app on WP8... what a great app. Much better than the Android youtube app. Childish that it had to be removed.
I think this year will be good for WP as probably more OEM's will make phones with WP.

I prefer the Nokia Lumia 1520 overall. With WP8.1 it will be even better, so waiting for the update to come. Now I use the Lumia 1020, it's a wonderful phone.
