This phone's screen is like Xperia S 4.3 inc 720x1280 342ppi
if I buy this phone ill fell the same because i have Xperia S
and this phone has the screen of the Xperia S.

Optimus GJ and S4 active got bigger bezel than xperia Z, why are you over reacting like a kid.
The least Bezel non water proof 5"phone is XPERIA ZL.

Finally, our prayers have been answered.
Hope its priced similar to the old Xperia Z (Rs30,000) or less...considering Shitty mini phones like Galaxy S4 mini and HTC One mini are Rs25000 range and perform like a budget phone.

Slayer (of trolls), 07 Jan 2014They are called BEZELS but you have to be on crack to accuse this phone of having huge bezels!... morePlease, iphone 5 and 5s has much smaller side bezels than this. The top bezel of 5/5s is a disaster though, the FFC looks so misplaced all alone all the way up there.
Side bezels:
iphone 5s is 58.6 mm wide, its display is 49.78 mm wide, lets say 49.8. Bezels are then 8.8, or 4.4 mm each.
Z1C is 64.9 wide, display is 53.59 lets say 53.6, bezels are a mindblowing 11.3mm, 5.65 mm each!

The z1 features software stabilization in video, but no optical stabilization, so you can expect the same here.

1 the screen backligjt would bleed more in to that surface if it was lighter.
2 the screen will seem better when the contrast to the surrounding color is greater.
I totally agrees, and from a objective design standpoint, it's far from perfection. You will have 3 visible layers of color outside of the display on all but the black version. First the trim, that does not match the device color, even if the pink and lime is kinda in the same color scheme, the white has silver. And then you have the color of the phone.
And then, that pretty big black bezel.
A bit much of layering if you want to keep it clean.
Had the aluminium frame been hidden, or the other way around extended over the fron, at least there would only have been two colors.

Now I understand being upset about half a centimetre but just one millimetre? Oh come on ppl! When the standard for phone bezels becomes a nanometre you ppl will bash phones with 2nm bezels. 100% unjustified and meaningless...

Oh come on people! Stop bashing the phone over just a few millimetres! Bezels are a little bigger... So what? Boo hoo, well don't buy it if you don't like it. I've been waiting for this phone and I'm coming from a SE Arc S. It's just a millimetre longer ,a mm and a half wider and a mm thicker. That doesn't sacrifice its pocketability.

should've been a bit smaller (a bit like the razr i). The biggest problem is pricing though, i wasnt expecting it to be exactly cheap but the smaller size and resolution of the screen alone should provide a significant price cut.
I do think however that this could be the iphone of android: small, elegant, and extremely capable.

This is an amazing phone. I've been waiting a long while for this. It would have been better if the screen was 4.5 inch or 4;6 inch. Yeah that would've rocked!

Not have the best but still great. It's just a matter of POV.
