Very well done to the team doing this comparison, brilliant stuff.
The key things I noticed in these pictures are:-
All 3 havea problem with over-exposure of natural light (just look how the light from the sky infringes on everything bordering it).
N73 seems to over-compensate this by adding some extra colour, making it a little fake looking.
The D900 doesn't seem to try and do anything.
The K800 reduces it a little and keeps the natural colour.
The most interesting thing for me though was the rest of the picture outside of the point of focus. eg. look around the edge of the picture away from the centre and see what happens with the N73. Although the centre is the most crystal clear of the lot, it will have more 'blur' to anything that moves outside the point of focus. Look at the tree branches as a fine example. I think the K800 copes with this a lot better giving the better all-round picture.
I was looking to deviate from my current sony-ericsson w800i, but think I will stick with them, although the sonic stage software could be better.
personally, i think N73 took better pictures than the other two. However, for close up, i think SE K800 is slightly better than N73.
But i saw the auto wheel photos and the n73's photo is better than k800i's. Maybe it's because of the taker's mistake.
k800 pic r so real than da 2 other crap (n73,d900),, dnt mess wiz Cyber-shot on camera,, cauz it da best cam,,,
just buy k800i and feel the difference... before im a nokia boy but when i got this k800 all i can say is WOW!!
Overall Sony Ericsson K800i wins, the N73 have certainly false colours for e.g.when we capture red colour the Nokia phones show it like orange colour, ehich can be called false colours. As far as D900i is concerned worst camera quality and the CyberShot wins overall
If we look at the pictures closely, we can see that d900's photos are the worst, because the detail level is poor than n73 and k800i. K800i and n73's photos' detail levels are nearly same. But n73's photos are brigter than k800i, and it causes a little bit detail loses. So i think k800i's photos are better tahn n73 and d900.
got a new samsung D900i and I dont have prob so far, color wise, very nice! although sound quality is not the superb but the phone as a whole satisfy my wants and my needs! its all in samsung D900i! :=)
I have a Sony Ericsson K800i,and i must tell u that the camera is superb,D900 has a good and sleek design but the camera is not good,N73 is Good,Functions are vast and Camera not good as K800...The only problem that im experiencing with my K800 is the joystick,,the joystick is total crap, the rest is finee,
Sony Ericsson K800=Excellent Camera,Superb soundqualiy on earfones,Good Design and stylish
Nokia N73=Good Functions,sound quality,joystick works fine,cool,good fone
Samsung D900=A bigtime Flop,2 b very frank this fone is total crap
N73 is more expensive than K800 n D900 but when that test was done,I prefer K800 coz it`s more sharp n nice color. Otherwise,K800 is cheaper than N73..
well! all the three mobile phone companies have tried to give best model in market, but my vote goes only for K800, you will have the best picture quality and will have the best talk time which the other two lacks of.
umm, i forgot to mention, k800i is clearer than the 2. n73 is much brighter. the essence of the picture is lost since it is not showing its true colors because of the way carl zies lense projects, giving more light to the picture which is good though. for d900, as what i've said, you need to have "a better" angle and "a better light" to capture the image or the MOMENT hehe. k800i is better indoor, outdoor, night or day.
design on the other hand, yes d900 is slick. others may find k800i and n73me boring to watch but mind you those 2 are loaded.
so you guys who want to buy a new phone, i strongly suggest that you choose k800i. same price as of nokia but much expensive than samsung. but if you want the more sophisticated one, k810i is the best for you. slick design, lighter, cooler etc. it's loaded baby!
for all you buyers, a food for though:
"SE and Samsung prices depreciates slower than of Nokia."

first of all i have to say that its great to have camphones like these. i do have the two phones, k800i and n73ME. both have unique qualities installed, stereo, mp3, camera, etc. The best thing about n73ME is it's stereo. The sound si really clear and very much likely better than of K800i. There are lots of stuffs and applications that you can use in the carl zeis camera. For k800i, the sound is not as loud as n73ME since there is no mega bass for sure and that there is no 3D effects. There are more applications in nokia rather that K800i plus its 2G free memory stick. For me to choose between both is a hard one but i have to say i prefer K800i than n73ME. K800i's camera is far better that of nokia's. It is superb i tell you. Xenon cam is very good. Even if you compare it to N95(which i also do have) is just similar to it's 5 mega pixel cam. As you all know, if we are all speaking of cybershot, it is for the digi cam. Wow, i do have a digi cam installed already in my K800i. For sound quality, i dont get bothered since K800i's effect is still very good (n73ME is much better hehe). Video is a lot faster and is very nice. To tell you more about the comparisons, check this one out.
N73ME is better
N73ME is better
K800i is better
K800i is better
k800i is FAR BETTER.. n73me, poor battery :(
K800i is better
n73ME is better
speed of phone:
k8001 is better
depends on you
both have it
both are user friendly
As of D900, i dont have that phone since i'm fed up with samsung. i have the first D500 and D600 waaay before and to tell you guys the truth the camera sucks big time. My friend have D900 and for you to be able to get some nice pictures is to have a better angle and a better lighting at the backround. What happen to the qoute "capture the moment" when you need ample time to capture it. Both n73me and k800i can do this. Sorry for being frank but i'm just fed up with samsung. d900 is good, n73me is better but k800i is the best.

between n73 and k800i
i think n73 is good at outdoor shot
for k800i indoor and night shot
As far as display is concerned... D900 has a lot better display then Nokia and SE... Samsung D900 is i think better than both of the others as they are comparatively expansive...
