Nokia N73 just loses bcoz Sony Ericsson K800 manages to get pictures dat hve natural touch to dem!! as for D900 its neither 2 bad nor 2 gud!! overall sony manages to beat the two just only in fotography department!
SE photos taken inside or in low light are clearly the best, but N73 outside pictures are more accurate than SE's. D900?? who cares..
if you take a close look at the photos you will see that k800 is much closer to what the human eye sees.N73 makes darker photos which under some lighting conditions is a great disadvantage.for instance if you take a close look in the photo with the luzanky building nokia is so dark that you can't see what is under the tree shadows.with k-800 you can.also the trees with nokia look like they have been drawn by hand or something.i also noticed some details (like an antenna on the roof top of a building)that nokia doesn't show at all.Flash mode has a clear winner which is the k800 and the purple flower photo shows that k800 is the king.Nokia has vivid colors but they are too fake.I am not talking about the d900, i was disappointed by it.I think i'll go for the k800.It takes better pictures,it is much cheaper a bit smaller with more camera options to play around and it is more beautiful.
the d900 pics are definitely much better than the ones shown on gsmarena.
1)Se k800i the best
2)D900 just nice
3)N73 worst one especially night picture(pls include that)
Pictures shown are definately manipulated. I had hands on experience with all three phones and all are equally as good and not as shown by GSMarena (especially D900) picture quality. Is GSMarena being ???????
1st Place : SonyEricsson K800
2nd Place : Nokia N 73
3rd Place : Samsung D900
N73 rocks in outdoor, but seems a bit unrealistic in color reproduction. K800i works better in details and simply is the king indoor. D900.. just too bad..
Since the difference between N73 and K800 for indoor photos is much, i prefer K800 over N73.
so it's gonna be:
i really do appreciate how K800i and N73 works. D900 is just too bad...
I think K800 pictures are sharper when zoomed in but the Nokia N73 pictures look better. I put them both as my desktop wallpaper and I prefer the Nokia photos because the colour is better, the detail was about the same. I'm going for a N93 though, the video quality is just superb.
your judging camera quality because of that purple flower.
i'll pull that flower out!!!!
Third place is d900, N73 good in macro mode & sharpness (but take more noise if I zoomed into 200% in my Opera browser). N93 has too strong color (see the red color on the shop & purple color on the flower) causes unnatural color. k800 has more natural color & good in flash light condition. So for daily purpose in night & day I choose:
Used to be a samsung fan but after seeing these pics... what a disappointment! Nowhere near the competition.
Nokia, nokia. You've come a long way since the N80, but pics are over-saturated - not very realistic. Comes close to what the K800i produced in terms of sharpness, but shame about the saturation.
Even with the overcast skies K800i still managed to produce striking images. The colour reproduction is accurate and sharp. In some shots it even outperforms some 3/4MP point&shoot cameras on the market! Only thing to complain (yes, i am nitpicking) is the lack of optical zoom or else this phone deserves a solid 5 stars!
Clearly SE K800 is the winner...
N73 kida exaggerates the colour...
SE's colours are true an more realistic....
And D900... Don even go there... For a 3.2 MP Autofocus cam, those pics are Pathetic...!!!
in other review GSMARENA mentioned between K800 and N93, the quality of the photo is almost the same... now they concluded that N73 is much better... very confusing...
I tought the review was taken by not professional reviewer... they never mentioned about the condition of the phone, what firmware of the phone, did they use the final version or prototype version, etc etc...
so no wonder all Nokia Fans Boy very happy with this review !
