i just upgraded my note 3 neo from 4.3 jelly bean to 4.4.2 kitkat ,the finger hover effect on lock screen is not working anymore and lock screen touch sound also changed. i tried all settings but not able to get back those effects now., pls help

I bought the MHL USB-HDMI adapter from Samsung but it doesnt seem to work.
Are you sure it works, I mean the phone outputs the signals?
Them I am planning to get a wi-fi dongle to connect to HDMI TV, will it work with Screen Mirroring ?

it has the same snapdragon 800 processor inside and 'bout 250$ cheaper than note 3 in korea. Very, very attractive alternative in my opinion
