The Sony Xperia M2 is priced at €289 means 23000 rupees approximately in Netherlands so if M2 is launched at the same price in India too, then Sony is surely going to loose customers.
Features wise this phone is just awesome with omni-balance design buth the main issue is price point.

Do you even know what 64bit is or you are only boasting. Its not 64bit that is great in apple A7 its the armv8 architecture. For now android does not support 64 bit and so do the apps.

is there a huge difference of picture quality
between mobile bravia engine 2 vs. x-reality + triluminos display?
I have both tablet Z and the phone, don't care much about the cpu for now, I'm concern with the display. I get it, they are trying to futureproof it but the cpu is not even 64-bit.

I think the Z2 is a very good premium high end smartphone.I can see the design is retained as same as the Z1.I can see improvements on the software of the Z2.This phone might sell more than the SGS5.
Sony xperia tablet Z2 is a very good tablet by Sony. This is also a very premium device with high end specs.Design wise the tablet Z2 is very premium. It is very thin, average bessels, and light weight. This is going to give competition to the new tablets realesed by Samsung.
Sony xperia M2 is the sucsessor to the xperia M.It has improved software and hardware features. This is a budget-orianted device which will give competition to the very popular Motorola Moto G.

Looks very nice. Won't say anything till see the camera review. That is one of the strong selling points of this phone, sony should have learnt something of their last flagship Z1. I hope the practical usage of the camera doesn't dissapoints.

Here comes the premium of the commercial brands; now every asian brand haters will come out bashing, but then, asian brands will always sell by the millions, and the rest of the wannabees will keep on sliding down and down and down, but their fanatics keep on profaning....

How come on earth does the camera sample claimed to be taken by Sony xperia z2 states the camera manufacture as Samsung?

For starters, the viewing angles on the Xperia Z1 Compact are superb, my local CEX manager who is an iPhone devotee, just changed to the Compact. The Compact and the Z2 use IPS LCD and have excellent viewing angles and natural colour reproduction. Plus the Xperia Z1's camera (not the Compact's) was voted best Android camera in a blind test by P Arena. Interesting, the opinions when you run the pictures as a blind test with no preconceived bias or opinions!

I think the phone's screen should be bigger. I have the z1 and note 3. When compared both side by side, the z1 screen seems small and washed out. For its size, I think it should do a 5.8 inch screen min or make the body smaller like the s4 or s5.

Also I really dislike how Sony won't allow you to move apps to SD card. I mean I could do it with the note 3 but you cannot do it with the Z1. The Frontal camera of the note 3 is also much better than the Z1's.

If Sony fix the two major issues listed above(moving apps and better camera performance). I might consider getting Sony again.

Man im team samsung but this phone is beautiful and the transparent interfaces are superb, as for best camera every company claims that, even the lumia 1320 i think....has proven to have an almost average 19mp camera. This phone looks superb good specs but the battery might still be a let down with their terrible battery saving ways. If samsung had such a case and dual led i wouldnt have wondering eyes hahahaha

I do hope Sony got the battery efficiency right this time. That's like the top most thing that's stopping from buying Xperias.

I'd really get one if it goes at least 6 hours+ of accumulated screen usage on 3G/4G.
