My lumia 929 in-call screen goes dark whenever I make or receive calls such that I cannot end calls myself. Please any suggestions?

Stop saying things that you have no idea about.
The battery life is bad because
CDMA Network drains the battery at least 1.5 times faster than GSM.
CDMA phones should be a little thicker to fit
larger battery or come with two battery options and extended cover so people can choose whether they want a standard thin phone and carry a second battery all the time or of they want a normal 15-20 mm thick phone with normal battery life.

You can use alphanumeric keyboard by using some asian keyboards like japanese. Just enable japanese key and you will see an option for anphanumeric.

Nokia should make a Lumia running Android, I'd buy it. I'm not a fan of WP but Nokia has always had quality devices and camera.

You know, for all the advancements, it bemuses me as to why no windows phone will provide the user with a basic choice of keyboards. Eg: alphanumeric key pad for messaging. Not everyone wants to push and tap every single minuscule letter. Alpha numeric is much larger by nature and is very fast at messaging. Please do include this, then maybe we could buy.

what about the burst mode? does it shoot one photo per 4 seconds like the 1020 or does it actually have burst?
and the pureview. is it 19MP of PureView or only 8MP like the 1020?

That sample demonstrated the best audio recording I have heard in a mobile phone video. That alone might make it worthwhile for me (or actually the 930, which should have the same hardware and will be available internationally carrier-free).

I don't even remember the last time any of my WP8 froze. Comparing a dual core to quad core is not much difference. It shows more in games but not in the UI. Apps do launch little bit faster too.
