Using Samsung S5 for last 4 years. No major issues till now. Battery still great and notrim even minor scratches on screen. Great workhorse from Samsung cheers
really love this phone, altough i use the lte version wich is much better than the standard version. but now my phone screen has shadow / burn in and the body has scratches everywhere. the replacement body is quite cheap but the replacement screen is still quite expensive, sike i'ts even the same price as a secondhand s5. i'm in the zone of wether i get this phone fix or just buy another phone.
Don't buy the V-zon or A-T version of this phone (or any of their MVNO networks, as will be the same crippled model)! Can't be rooted, and in 2017 you need to be able to root this phone to keep it relevant. Great features like removable battery, IR blaster, SD card slot, great looking screen, etc. Trust me, look into what this phone is capable of with a custom rom and root apps and this phone could be your sleeper daily driver. Props to Sprint and T-Mobile for not wrecking the flagship model of 2014.
Send samsung Galaxy S5 video by creating it as much as this phone has please please please

In my area there are some repair shops. I went to one one of those and they replaced the button. It works fine till today.
I bought Galaxy S5 in 2014 and am still using it. Actually, I am using the device to write this comment. In my opinion the device is one of the best devices of Samsung. Strong and stout design. Touch screen is excellent. After 2 years I am using the original battery. It reduces less than 15% charge at night from 12:00 am to 8:00 am. More than 12 hours at moderate or high use.
so many things bad about this p.o.s. its hard to know where to start....the wi-fi that turns itself on and off, the unbelievably stupidly placed on/off button, the "touch"screen that often doesnt work....its garbage. Buy something else.
What could be draining battery? I have S5 and with normal use by 2pm need to recharge. This is a new battery too.
