MoFo, 10 Apr 2014Hahaha...so true. That's why , check it out yourself.
You will be shocked, iboy.
You cant compare Touchwiz with Sense 6.sense is a premium thing...once you use it you stick to it
probably the best feature of HTC.
i really really really wonder
since it's only 0.1" bigger than the S4's screen which is only 2% bigger then why the whole body gone 10% bigger ?
the battery is not an excuse by the way :)
huhuhu, 09 Apr 2014"which is a wiser choice" Now where did you get that?Where did I get it? Well one doesn't have to be an idiot to figure it out. Heart rate sensor and all that bs might be useful to some of the most gullible people but that ain't a deal breaker for me. Ugly design surely is.
I'm a good music fan and at the same time a camera geek, I think the htc one m8 and s5 tie, i don't see use of 4k video recording and at the same time the heart beat sensor, samsung should focus on issues that value the large number of youth smartphone owners, i even honestly think no one will ever use the s health app back here in Africa and to those beefing htc, what that camera guru from htc said was a chunk true, we almost use the 90% photos on our phones for social networking and viewing pleasure on our phones. Htc the way to go, I don't hate samsung but am just honest...
I own a Galaxy S4, a reliable but horrible looking and feeling device. Had high hopes for S5, but sadly, it suffers from more of the same. Fiddled with it the other day and it feels disgusting and cheap. Camera still appears to suffer from slow shutter causing blur as in the S4. HTC m8 and Z2 are definitely better bang for buck devices
Epic fail, S5 the same boring thing. by the way, sense 6 is much smoother, faster and nicer then touchwiz, which is more a kind of bloatware. if htc m8 had used a decent camera and not the 4 mp shit and a edge to edge design then it would had been "the thing"
Samsung mobile are the best in marketing, but in fact their devices are really bad according my experience and my colleagues too.
Actually after I try the LG G2 I was surprised that I never knew that there is good devices in the market like this in term of battery life is amazing speed and photos are superb and you will thank me very very much for this advise.
This is only a personnel advice according to my experience and my friends in S4 and note 2 devices so don’t spent your money in the air.
S5 is really a good phone, in other word "all rounder" hey Gsma as we can't judge how should be the audio quality without listen it in real. You should comapre sound quality with Nokia N91 which is still benchmark in audio quality. So its will easy to know how good it's audio quality could. Like u comapre photos with Nokia Lumia 1020.
chuzi, 09 Apr 2014Galaxy s5 is far better than your 6month brick (z2).Just because a nobody says so?
matt, 09 Apr 2014I am an s4 user first and foremost. Samsung always does well to throw features in the phone un... moreIf it was so fantastic you wouldn't be going for M8 (which is a wiser choice)
Your book of a comment makes you come across as an apologist on behalf of shamesung and that's the honest truth.
Now bring me my Z2.....
I am an s4 user first and foremost. Samsung always does well to throw features in the phone until one sticks with a consumer and that becomes the USP for that consumer. Despite what people think they will always be there or there about at the top. Build quality may be lacking but the fact is they make great handsets and just because you are a fan of another brand doesn't mean you have to tarnish the Samsung one. They're still great.
Moving on to the s5. I really like the isocell camera speed and also the fingerprint scanner and brightness features. They're practical and for me would be used daily. However with Samsung I find it hard now to justify the plastic. Its merely a matter of taste. If you want that removable battery then go Samsung. If not then perhaps another brand is for you. In my opinion I think touchwiz still looks slow in some videos I have seen. On my s4 I changed developer options so hoepfully this can be done on s5 but the my magazine and opening of the camera app particularly look juttery.
I bought an m8 on Sunday and I do love it. I find the ui so fast the build quality outstanding battery life incredible and despite what people may think... I've had great great results off the camera. In many cases it has beat the s4 due to allowing so much more light in and there being less noise. I am still considering the s5 however. Something does draw me to Samsung. Maybe its all they cram in their phone .
I'll probably stick with m8 however by no means does that mean the s5 is a bad phone. Its fantastic just like the HTC. The low light performance is still not up to scratch on the Samsung but that's just my opinion. To anyone trying to decide read this and other impartial comments. They're great handsets and you can't go wrong. If you want a faster experience with a better software and unique camera editing as well as the best speakers then HTC is for you. If you want the scanner the heart rate monitor and the better camera in full light then s5.
Hope this helps
