You know why doesn't windows phone just kill android and ios? Its not because of features or specs it's because of ignorance of people.
Asphalt 8 airborne runs fine on 512mb ram Windows phone devices go to YouTube and you can see there it even plays better than droids with 1gb ram. With absolutely zero lag. 512mb ram wp can run 99% of all app and game in store.
Where as a 512 mb droid cant even run 512 apps properly. A windows phone is anything but slow.

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2014Which Android device with 512MB doesn't lag? Give me a few names.Well my Sony Ericsson live walkman didn't lag when it was on gingerbread. But alas when ICS arrived it turned into a horrid lag monster. Even though I own nexus 5 and I'm kind of android faithful (for the time being) 512mb ram is not enough as many features have to be removed from low end droids to minimise lag. In windows you don't see the lag on your 512mb ram device because also your services and apps are slightly reduced. Try putting asphalt 8 on a 512mb windows phone and it would lag which is why you don't have that game on low windows phone.

You missed apps off the missing list. However good all these changes are - windows needs the support from king games and others that do the popular games like candy crush. - Gameloft has made a step in the right direction. As for Nokia now being called Microsoft - I don't like it - when I think of the name Microsoft I think of all those early horrible windows phones before the lumias. Give windows more freedom and customisation like android and surely you will be on to a winner Microsoft. Google are not flawless though if rumours are to be believed as nexus phones will be no more next year. That will be a sad day if that happens as I will not pay ridiculous prices for Google play editions. The one plus one could well be the nexus users next phone if this happens. And if there is no one plus one next year then windows may just be an option if it manages to get more good apps.

I took an example when I mentioned the Lumia 610, to show him that they are some slow WP devices, at least read and understand what we are talking about before posting, geez

WP7 to WP8 was a big change under the hood. They changed the kernel to Windows NT and made available to multi core processors. All those WP7 were single core processor.
