Samsung Galaxy S5 vs LG G2 Comments

Yesterday went with a friend to shop for a new smartphone.
The race was between the SGS5 or the LG G2. If that LG had an SD-card slot it would have gotten the LG G2 that won. This friend had no prior experience with ANY smartphone (his previous model was an ancient SE K750i).
Those Korean companies have no vision and no idea what consumers want. They just compete with each other and, in the case of Samsung, flood the market with soo much shit with the hope that one if it stucks. So consumers have more change to find a Samsung device that suits their needs with less compromises.
But IMHO both companies suck! I would never have gotten that SGS5 nor that G2.

I have been using Note 3 for 6 months now and hardly use Spen, for me its just and odd mobile . And worst part is cant play games on it as it heat up so fast while gaming. I have spare iphone 5 which can fullfil my gaming needs, i just want a mobile to use just for communication with better camera and good battery life while using data.

I think G2 takes a little low light lead. Everyone knows while Samsung's do ok in low light they are a little behind the crowd...Which is odd considering what they can do.
And S5 has just about the best camera out there. The only things better are 1020 and 808 at pictures.
It's colors are a little saturated though. And Z2 does mostly better at low light though Samsung improved.
But G2's is no slouch.

If more comfort is your thing then honestly the S5 will be more comfortable than either.
It depends on what your likes really are. Switching to LG will be similar with how much their designs and especially how much Optimus UI looks like Touchwiz...
It's not a big change. What really changes is the screen and camera from Note 3 to G2 would kind of go down hill.
Are you bothered by the size? Is more comfort all you want? Is screen more important? Just looking for lower cost?

hey , i am planning to move from Note 3 to G2 because i like the design and feels more comfortable in hands. More over im not using most of the Spen features other than screenshots which i guess G2 had it already. Please give me ur advise ? is it a wise move ?

BUT... its not worth the amount of... moreOk. G2 is not all that for sure.
And what is your point? It's cheaper because it's older.
It was more expensive when it came out. And the S5 has some decent upgrades and higher priced tech in it.

BUT... its not worth the amount of money they are asking for. [India]
G2 still a great Value for money.
Overall Excellent package.
Has More than enough Features for every need.

G3 will have 5,5" screen, that means it will become a phablet so next head-to-head should be with a samsung note, not galaxy

I don't know if some of you guys experienced this.. the touch response of LG G2 is somewhat off the track. I've seen lots of videos in youtube.

mark, 29 Apr 2014Lg for me .too many problems with samsung Choosing LG is fine. However if it's just because of problems then you are in for a rude awakening. All companies have similar issues. LG more than included.
And from what the G line is. . Maybe they will just copy this into their software
