Yes again.. LG has done a good job by producing a brilliant mid ranger. The g2 mini has all it takes to take on the grand 2 and the s4 mini. Attractive pricing and loadz of software features coupled with the solid customization of the Optimus UI. and a huge battery make it one of the best mid range phones around. Good job LG..

Lenovo S660 has the best in class battery in this class....easily beating LG G2 mini. Lenovo has managed to place a 3000mAh battery in a 4.7inch display phone with nearly same dimentions.and it also claims amaizing 35 days standby time. Hope gsmarena gets it for review someday!!

I feel sorry for the ignorant people who give so much money for LG G2 mini or for last years S4 mini. There as so much better offerings at this price range. Hell give 50$ more and get last years flagship S4. I usually like what samsung and LG bring to the table but this "mini" crap is just BullSh*t.

I can only find one flaw with this phone: its brother, the LG L9 II. I think only the camera is better on the G2 mini, the rest I think is on par from my point of view. And oh yeah... the L9 II is cheaper... much cheaper...

I remember when smartphones wasnt yet a big thing, that time it was all about computers, the fanboy wars between AMD and Intel supporters was always escalating in a matter of seconds, moderators on all web forums was busy day and night to keep things under control.
Fanboy wars are going out of fashion, things are not that explosive anymore, especially not over a boring lower midrange phone like G2 Mini. It need to be flagship level and Samsung or Apple or both must be involved, even then it doesnt really explode, just a few 11 year olds getting a little emotional, like "from sony to LG".

i owned Z1 but i sold and i switched to G2.
i only managed to got about 4 hours OF BROWSING ON MY Z1, WHILE almost 8 HOURS ON MY LG G2!
my Z1 has washed out DISPLAY AND PAINFUL WHITE on my eyes!

im sure before you post you comment you already know that its not the ugly z2! king of ... moreYou may want to have a look around the web, Z2 has superior viewing angles to any LG phone. Battery is great in all Sony phones with the new IPS displays, like Z1 Compact, T2 Ultra, M2. I dare anyone to come up with something that can beat Z2 Tablet on battery life, only 6000 mah but still last longer than Androids weighing half a pound more.
About G2 mini, no no no... Very poor performance, very bad display, should have been 4.5 inch 720p. Why is LG so desperate in copying all of Samsungs specs, even when they are bad?? No wonder LG is loosing money together with Motorola and HTC, unlike Sony Mobile which is profitable because they make good phones that people actually want instead of wasting time in copying samsung and apple.

no one interested in sony poor battery phone!
even g2 mini is by far better than your sony flagship phone in battery department and Viewing angles.
z2 is DELAYED because of bad issues with its hardware! its made in china! ...

The battery life is great since the resolution is low, but the chipset used is not efficient enough or else it could have delivered more. They could have at least gone with SD800 to keep the battery efficiency very high and the savings can be put towards a 720p display. That would have made this mini a very good phone indeed.
Still not a bad buy. Just don't know the price in my zone yet.
