Guys, moderating comments is ok... but why would you not let the truth come out??

I was just mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy S5 does not come with Snapdragon 801 in India, and hence doesn't even have 4G.

What's the point misguiding the entire public, including those from India?
Can't you post a small one line disclaimer in your generous reviews?
I mean come on, your site is a global one now.

How many salesmen in the world can give a detailed explanation? More importantly, how many consumers will bother to listen, let alone, understand?

I honestly think this explains the sales volume of Samsung. User friendly is what most people are looking for.

Unfortunately, HTC doesn't have deep enough pockets to sustain this sort of experiment.

Well, at least they're putting in a 13MP camera in the mini 2. Let's see how that goes.

If you look at 13 mp sensor photos of samsung & LG you will they have weird sharpening halos and in low light condition since they do have TINY Pixels they specially samsung ends up making the photo look like Water colour painting i.e. they remove all details - click a pic of a doll or a pet etc in night and you will see, while m7 and 5s heck even my old iPhone 4 are way better in night and a lot faster as well ! This is Only areas were smartphones are miles miles behind any even a consumer SLR . I do have a nokia 808 and it has long exposure by fiddling with ND filter which produced some nice light streak effect but again it is no match to my 2008 model canon 40D !

I read that many people suggested that they should have gone with 13 mp etc sensor which technically ( if with same size señsor as before) would have been a huge mistake.
i compared iPhone 5s, htc one m7, S4 and note all together in wide variety of scenarios and it was clear that overall iPhone 5s 8mp sensor and algorithms was best all rounder and htc m7 close second.
8 MP ultrapixel sensor even if same size señsor as before would have been best camera along with OIS. With 25% increase in sensor size ( sounds easy but difficult thing to do in practice ) and current advancement in Sensor Tech And OIS would have been enough to continue the Unbeaten path with HTC dared. 8mp has enough resolution to give not the best but close to it pictures in daylight while maintaining higher dynamic range and most importantly superb, sharp indoors and lowlight where huge majority of phone photos are clicked .

I agree with what you have said. I traded in my butterfly s and this phone has made me decide to say goodbye to HTC. It's time to support another underdog. I'm tired of betting on a consistent also ran. HTC has decided to throw good money after bad by continuing with the 4MP camera. As a consumer, I sense a dictator running the show. How many top executives have left? Even the talented M8 designer is leaving. I really can't see a future for HTC. Awards have to be translated into profits.

mavsaurabh, 14 May 2014well its true that no screen is 100% accurate in a phone but at the same time some are closer ... moreActually as far as whites go the slightly bluish whites are more "accurate" than the overblown ones that most LCD's have.

Can't argue accurate and then defend the very inaccurates of LCD.

I know very well in Movie Mode Amoled is not quite there yet. But it has WAY more advantages.

For the VERY LIMITED people who actually need very accurate colors they will need specific LCD I understand.

I think this is all very interesting reading but frankly why spend the top dollar on something which is just not twice as good as many mobiles on the market. Remember the massive Hype over the Samsung S4. Well you can buy them for 60% of the price of a S5, and you will never notice the difference. Why bother with either of these mobiles, really. For what reason? Both use Android which leaks like a sieve, but is a cheap ease of use platform, if not bloated now and reaching some level of being over the top verses efficiency. So if you must have a S5, go and fool the neighbours and get a S4 if you must have it. Me, I would not use an Android device ever given the massive security issues that you buy with it. But I can appreciate the excellent work, particularly marketing of Samsung, and positioning of Oppo. By the way, just who really owns Oppo?

I'd definitely choose the Oppo, save a lot money and everytime I take the phone out of my pocket I'd enjoy a nicely designed and well crafted phone instead of an ugly thing that is hard to look at.
