AnonD-265101, 19 May 2014Those thick bezels top & bottom really help to let the phone sitting nicely in your palms ... moreI don't agree with hating on them...Especially how overall it slimmed down and has those speakers...
but that's just ridiculous.
AnonD-265101, 19 May 2014Time to throw your Note 3 out of window.. Z2 screen works with any pencils. no need for a prop... moreIf you looked up videos or tried it...Sony is not the only one capable of that.
And it's not the same as waycom integration.
AnonD-265101, 19 May 2014Those thick bezels top & bottom really help to let the phone sitting nicely in your palms ... moreNope i had xperia z its not comfortable to hold and grip in hand since its a BIG phone.
FLAT RECTANGLE GLASS BACK IS NOT GOOD TO ME!
I prefer "CURVE BACK" LG G3 for now.
AnonD-175677, 17 May 2014I forgot to mention that " THICK BEZEL" TOP-BOTTOM and TWO SIDES
NOT GOOD TO ME!
... moreThose thick bezels top & bottom really help to let the phone sitting nicely in your palms when used in landscape mode, without cramping your thumbs. try it for yourself.
Bezels were made for a reason
Eriol, 17 May 2014This is truly the best smartphone this year. I wish it had stylus & digitizer, so I can ... moreTime to throw your Note 3 out of window.. Z2 screen works with any pencils. no need for a proprietary stylus.
Anonymous, 18 May 2014Yeah...Lol. Taking half a year to copy a device and try to do it feature to feature yet not no... moreMaybe you need to come out of your Samsung shell like the rest of Samsung's followers need to and face the facts, the Pro 2 easily beats the Note 3 in all departments, so does the G2 and of course so will the G3. Please get a life away from Samsung before you make any more comments, you have no idea what you are on about, better to not say anything than total garbage.
zach, 18 May 2014Dont you understand that dock or magnetic charging cable does virtually the same thing as wire... moreI am talking about the flaps not the magnetic dock. There is no problem on the Z1/Z2 but those phones which don't have it are at a huge loss especially when many phones have flaps to cover those parts up. But several people say having wireless charging not that a big deal. It is.
The word "this" in my earlier post is in reference to the magnetic dock. It's pretty obvious in context to the Z2. -_-
AnonD-264811, 18 May 2014Late last year I was going to buy a Xperia Z1 which was the best overall as I compared it wit... moreAgreed. Best phone currently available and likely to remain so for some time, and I am not easily pleased.
AnonD-264982, 18 May 2014I just bought this phone and after using for 3 days, oh boy i'm really dissapointed..it keeps ... moreI would like to think you are not trolling but it seems to me that assuming you are telling the truth, the logical thing to do will be to take it back to the retailer as a defective product. Since you have not done that, the only conclusion to reach is that you are trolling. Consider yourself slayed, Troll.
AnonD-259899, 18 May 2014There is a good reason for that claim. The flap on my Xperai S is broken. Nothing happened... moreDont you understand that dock or magnetic charging cable does virtually the same thing as wireless charging and you dont have to open any flaps. People like talking despite not knowing a thing.
AnonD-264982, 18 May 2014I just bought this phone and after using for 3 days, oh boy i'm really dissapointed..it keeps ... moreYou sure you have the right phone. You have either bought a nock off or a defective device. Just take it back and get it exchanged. alternatively you ight have some malware on your android device that's making it overheat restart and kill battery
Anonymous, 18 May 2014Funny how no wireless charging is a disadvantage, because it has a charging dock which does vi... moreThere is a good reason for that claim.
The flap on my Xperai S is broken. Nothing happened, it didn't fall, it never got hit on that side, nada. It just broke due to the constant pull-push wear and tear of usage.
Flaps will break under constant usage that's their biggest draw back. This sort of wireless charging makes life easy.
I just bought this phone and after using for 3 days, oh boy i'm really dissapointed..it keeps restarting for unknown reasons and the phone itself has some overheat problems..and i'm not meeting up the promised battery life..for just about 4 hours with 1 hr on screen time, with minimal usage, surfing the net and other stuff it already consumed 30% of the battery..:(, why sony..why??..:'(
AnonD-69077, 16 May 2014Exactly why I don't give sony phones a look in anymore. I used to be a huge sony fan, I bought... moreAll you just wrote is a bag of lies. We all know it and you know it. If you want a phone that rings loud, buy one of the Chinese mobile phones. They have the loudest speakers one can find. No clarity, just crazy high decibels. Most do not even have their ring tones set anymore as phones are mostly on vibrate. S5 is no where clearer than Z2. U are just a liar. Funny how everyone who bashing a phone has a "friend" who has a phone, then wants to exchange it... S5 was out before Z2, u would have had yours first, he would have had some idea of what the s5 is before choosing the z2. Quit lying, liar...
"the difference between Z2 and Z1 is about as big as that between Snapdragon 800 and 801"
I very much disagree. Most reviews are much more positive about the low light photos than gsmarena and that really was the Z1 (compact)'s achilles heel. That and the screen. So they took care of the two biggest shortcomings of the Z1. From that perspective it's a huge difference!
Funny how no wireless charging is a disadvantage, because it has a charging dock which does virtually the same thing.
