But about camera h/w: seems you like better day light postprocessing over better h/w,
about sound output: sems you like more volume over quality noise-canceled sound. Its my preference yes.
and durability and practicality you just got all wrong ( for me an IP rating and a dedicated 2 step camera button is all about durability and practicality)
About screen: I prefer better whites over better blacks on IPS, and think it makes for a better screen experience, although amoled has better sun ratio to make up for it.Its my preference yes.
And in the end yes: 3 gig RAM, screen tech, camera tech, bigger battery, stereo speakers, noise cancellation tech and design/build quality IS all that Z2 has, and it is what makes a difference for me ...
On the other hand screen tech, camera software, more volume output, removable battery and ergonomics is what S5 has for it, and why you prefer it...
So AGAIN, each to it's own liking....

So your reply is as flawed as your logic.
I don't care which you prefer. I'm commenting on logical facts. I like the Z2 quite a lot, but fact is fact.
Screen is hardware. Camera is hardware. Ergonomics and overall durability/practicality is hardware.
And all those are overall superior on S5.
Headphone output counts just as much as front speakers.
You might prefer timescape as YOUR preference. It does not change the advantages of TouchWiz.
I think timescape is pretty, but find Touchwiz to look fine and offer much more function and features most of which is optional.
And the base of consumed space is of little difference.
Updates are quite important as well.
Not including your own personal preferences the 3gb ram, speakers, and larger battery are mainly all Z2 has.
darkraver, 17 Jun 2014Beautiful number of... preferences you mentioned there...for certain number of people yes, and... moreYou call a set of facts preference based off your own bias.
Congratulations on fail fanboy logic. And I never denied ram. I made a logical counter point to fanboy claims.
[deleted post]Friend you seem to miss the point...you talk about your s/w preferences, ( type of multitasking, volume output, camera software, UI and it's updates), and I talk about my h/w preferences ( screen, 3gig ram, camera tech, noise cancellation tech, double front speakers, Build and IP rating, battery,...) ,only thing you mention h/w factual is the screen, and ergonomics...but I do prefer IPS over Amoled any time ( that colour output is just not my cup of tea), and omnibalance design over plastic back-removable design..., and certainly prefer Timescape over Touchwiz...
And the biggest asset being 3 gig ram, which is logically one most important of them all...
That is it...so, again, enjoy your galaxy experience, and I'll enjoy my xperia one...;-)

With the S5 you will enjoy best display, better camera, ergonomics, headphone output, just as good gaming experience, better updates, also used in water while retaining a slimmer for with removable battery, and better multi tasking software on the less ram.
And Z2 does not have the best battery life. Its above average.
Anonymous, 13 Jun 2014you're right sir, you can never upgrade hardware lacks. that's why i'll choose the S5 over Z2 ... moreGood for you, just enjoy your S5 removable battery and 3g video calls, and I' ll enjoy my 1gb more Ram for better UI and gaming experience, best battery life, and front stereo speakers....while using Skype for video calls . So we ll each enjoy our flagships I guess ;-)
The funny thing that gsmarena count that S5 fingerprint scanner is advantage of S5!in realty it's the worst fingerprint scanner implemented on smart phone that works 30 out 100 times, even though HTC one max has the best fingerprint scanner in whole Android phones leave a lone IPhone 5s.

Many people have had almost all the exact problem with the Z2 or any phone in existence. There are always always always always always always always always are duds or devices with more issues than others.
And aside from not having 4G the exynos chip is by far a great chip.
There is nothing wrong with having our liking the Z2. But what you posted was foolish.
I bought s5 but there were more problems like camera failed song can not be played etc and sometimes it shuts down forcely and restarts so again i bought sony z2 it is quiet better than s5.s5 of indian brand is on exynos processorand z2 is on snapdragon processor.s5 uses 1.5 gb ram for its internal use so u can not work hard and its battery drains out in 6 hrs so i talked to its service center and they checked through samsung smart tutor application and told all is ok.but i was facing problems and samsung has broken my trust beacause i bought his flagship phone s5 and in my collaeuges i will not reccomend to buy s5

If you like G3 or Z2 that's fine. Coming here to lie and bash is just hurt bias trolling though. Lol. You actually try to claim these companies would release such little memory and expect to be taken seriously?
Or is that just a ploy to troll people?

Don't let the brightness of super-amoled fool u, the pics are bright but lack the color depth of Z2. Waiting for G3 to crash the party soon.

Z2 might have more mp, but the S5's sensor captures better contrast and detail.
ui is preference and the new settings is neat imo.
Fingerprint scanner is not best, but works well if uses correctly.
So...have you even seen an S5? ???
