And about RAW, 808's pics are basically raw files, since they are absolutely untouched by post processing!
I don't need to get my eyes checked. They are perfectly alright!
And about the OIS part, I did say "Sans OIS". IE if we keep the OIS part out of consideration, then 808's videos are much better!
SabbyJ, 17 Jul 2014I still believe that the 808 is much better than the 1020 when it comes to pure photography an... morego and get an eye check immediately
lumia 1020 always has the crisp, brighter image with a little noise
808 images are darker especially in low light
lumia 1020 shoots raw + OIS in the video really helps while recording motion
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2014in my opinion htc one m8 have the best camerANo it does not that's why it wasn't included.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2014What happened with the One m8. Skipped it because of its 4 UltraPixel?? It's true you guys loo... moreYeah ... Including the M8 would have saved Sony the embarrassment of being the worst .. lol
XperiaFan, 17 Jul 2014Bwhahaha! Sony's 20.7 MP is an epic fail, but Sony says it's the world's best camera in a wate... moreYup agreed, that's why i'm still stuck in using 2011 Xperia phone (i see your username is XperiaFan probably we have something in common ;P) , because Sony is reluctant to amaze us again with their imaging specialty in one single piece of device, instead they only focus on making big bucks from selling those attached-on camera lens, very inconvenient, maybe it's time to switch to Samsung, they are doing things right almost all the time.
I always suspected the entire z series moniker of Sony phones has weak camera and video.
Nokia's result never in doubt.
Why isn't the Nokia Lumia 1520 included in the shootout? Sure, it isn't a regular phone because it's a phablet but the 1520 and the 930 have almost the same specs aside from the expandable memory and the screen right?
Bwhahaha! Sony's 20.7 MP is an epic fail, but Sony says it's the world's best camera in a waterproof smartphone. Other OEMs keep churning out very good results with the same Sony sensor, but Sony keeps failing. Bwhahaha!

What happened with the One m8. Skipped it because of its 4 UltraPixel?? It's true you guys look at figures to draw conclusions
It's not that i'm defending sony, but this comparison seems a bit "odd"
Here, in the last camera comparison. Even Xperia Z1 on a jelly bean firmware which has half baked camera software can easily beat Note 3 which is one of the sharpest 13MP cameraphone. And now Xperia Z2 which has better auto mode than xperia z1 isn't even miles ahead of iphone 5s? Blasphemy! I remember gsmarena said on the review of xperia z2 that the software is better than that of xperia z1
HDR comparison is a bit odd as well. I remember reading GSMA'S xperia z2 review, and its HDR mode is more positively praised than galaxy s5's because Z2's HDR keeps thing accurate while S5's HDR exaggerated everything. And now S5's HDR is placed at 2nd and Z2's is placed at 5th? damn.
I pretty much agree about the rest though
it is actually nokia 1020 vs the rest but when it comes to camera department no one knows better than NOKIA.
no doubt NOKIA simply nailed it n proved it again.
Hail to the king " Nokia 1020 "
I own A Moto X Phone, but I admire Nokia 1020 Camera.
Ha ha ha the only phone that Sony is better than that is last year's iPhone. Keep going Sony you can!!!
Have a s5 and a g3 and trust me when you zoom and see clearly the g3 wins. s5 it's good but indeed hyped up
