While less stabilized it's detail, contrast, and motion are among the top.

Great review. The 1020 only wins on still photos department, overall winner of best cameraphone is the Samsung Galaxy S5. Even with its postprocessing the 5S is still better than all of the cameraphones tested here overall. People need to stop denying this. The pictures speak for themselves. It's not G3, nor the Lumia, not the Experia let alone the iphone, it's the Galaxy phone, the S5. Can't wait for the new Note.

Samsung is post processing video with something what is in photoshop called smart blur, which is degrading smooth transitions ..which can be really visible on large screens . And you are unable to control this .... This is why i do not like the video results from samsung camera.

Odd that the camera can be best for stills but not also video and visa versa. Anyway, congratulations Samsung! Keep it up! Its rather important as it is the difference between buying a pocket camera on the side or not.

6-7 seconds between taking photos for 1020 is like stoneage compared with normal cameras. It's really emberassing! Just check on your watch how long 7 seconds are. GSMA you make fools of yourselves trying to promote so hard such garbage.
