HTC one M7 is still a good buy & now it's relatively cheaper too (as compared to M8). I just bought mine a month ago....& it's an awesome device. I am not defending my purchase here.....but it's a worthy consideration if you're looking for a premium device with all capabilities.

                HTC One M8

                Best design - feels premium.
Gimmicky Camera, but good for social media
Arguably the best display with great contrasts and colour.
Fast UI with no lag - Sense is lighter than ever.
Twin Speakers for good sound quality.

AnonD-285158, 30 Aug 2014really? XL and X2? dead platform and terribly slow phones with crippled android? write me one ... moreI don't know your reason for hating Nokia XL so much, but I just tried Nokia XL on phone shop recently, and it
feels good. There's difference between trying it yourself and just reading review/specs/photos/videos.

I know it has low spec, low res, etc. But for $170, it's pretty good deal.

Oh you ask for 1 reason. Here 1:
                          1. Plenty service center.

Their service center is aplenty in my city. About 4-5 nokia care centers here, compared to 1 Sony sc, 1 samsung sc, 1 LG sc. The advantage is clear.
HTC, lenovo, Huawei, and other chinese phones don't have any SC in my city, I had to travel 4 hours to capital city when my HTC phone breaks.

Where's htc one M8? You guys must be joking. I know you don't get the whole ultrapixel thing but that's not the reason to abandon this model completely. I do know Samsung has more marketing power but the M8 is in the top. Some people just want plastic, mono speakers and heart rate monitors ;-)

hemedans, 30 Aug 2014am not fan of nokia xl, x and x+, but nokia x2 and xl for china they are good compare to whole... moreno, they really dont. whole X series is a crap, nokia know it, MS knows it - that is the reason of so quick ending. slow, not comparable to android nor WP lowend phones. X is for about the same price as Lumia 520 - and as I hate the crappy 520, I must say that it is much more usable (even with WP) than X.
