whats the use of calling this a water proof phone, if sony cannot correct the problems for the flaps which gets damaged/does not close properly after sometime.

While Alpha does an amazing job despite being lowest res of all these, it also keeps a lot more detail on the distant shore.
The comfort for Z3c is that if it was clouded or twilight or something else than a sunny day the Xperia would still give a useable photo, the Samsungs would not (at least not at the first few tries and likely only after you waste 5 minutes with manual settings)

But since Z Ultra is a slightly newer model i will go for your number, and say MAYBE Z3c can charge in less than 2h30m.

My z ultra has 3000mah and the charger out 1.5A and it took 2hrs and 30 mins to full batt To charge. In Z3 compact case maybe less than 2hrs for full charge

I believe that 720p is the sweet spot for devices less than 4.9 inches since the ppi is still pretty high and the lot of us use our phones at a distance the way it should be.

this is the ultimate complete package smartphone
insane battery life
great screen
good design
very fast (S801 @720p)
excellent camera (best video stabilization out there, good 4k, pictures in the same level as galaxy alpha/GS5, better low light if used correctly in manual. the wider fov is awesome too)
IP 65/68 is amazing
microSD support
and the excellent price.

Well, looking at the sample images, one can see that the optics for the 20MP shooter has been significantly improved in comparison to Z1c. Weak sharpness in corners was definitely the deal breaker for z1c.
