Where are htc m8 and samsung s5... In preformance test... ?!?!?!!? That is real comparison. Android vs. iOS
Meanwhile, Apple’s brand new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus features a “disappointing” dual-core Apple A8 processor and “just” 1GB of RAM. But guess what… it turns out that those seemingly puny specs just crushed quad-core and octa-core rival smartphones in a number of key performance tests carried out by the world’s leading blog when it comes to technical gadget analyses.
Larger iPhone not the phone Apple wanted to make.
Overall the Note 4 and G3 still has the edge with the quad hd screen screen.
Sony Z3 credible alternative to the IPhone plus on 1080p.
Apply's Retinal display concept totally shot to pieces.
AnonD-149823, 01 Oct 2014Apple is also offering a new feature called Wi-Fi calling. If both parties support this servic... morePreviously Facetime was Apple to Apple only
FaceTime over Wi-Fi: this means FaceTime has been extended to include NON Apple phones via wifi
PLUS
FaceTime over Cellular: An entirely different thing
This is VIDEO Calling and you will be charged at the rate for making these Video calls
I have not heard myself of any network offering a video calling allowance
ANY WIFI is "FREE"
CELLULAR is NOT FREE
On NON Apple handsets Cellular (video calls) have been available for years, but you paid. Apple have joined the club, wifi calling will see the major uptake
My MyPhone S-line no problem plays wave 24bit/96 khz. Cost about 200 $
I think that iPhone 6 Plus is a hyper expensive toy for naive...

The Iphone 6 plus uses JDI's IPS Neo display.

If they used the same tuning on a larger sensor the results would be much better.
Don't be a blind fool. It's not the best. It's outperformed or overall outperformed by a few other phones....
And this is just us talking about the camera. Basically the same thing works for the entire device.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2014Hahahaha..you're funny. Ok, let me clear things up for you. This is 2014, not 2012.Whats funny? Just because apple doesnt go with pixel race? Its not about the no of pixel, its about quality plus dslr grade autofocus and stabilization. Dont be blinded by the useless gimmicky features where in real life no one's gonna use..
many reports now saying the iphone6+ is not as bendable as thought. that said well done review. It's time apple joined into the phablet race. I wish I can cancel my ip6 for the a ip6+. oh well. next time maybe. in a couple years they should have resolved the not so big of a deal bending issues.

I also have my phone on me at all times, which cannot be said for the cards."
Doesn't this work like iOS's Passbook? (plus now, first only in America, there's Apple Pay for credit cards).
"I agree about Airdrop, though many Android phones have the same kind of feature out of the box as well."
I didn't know that. What's the name of the funcionality?
Problems which I talked about where strictly connected to GSM Arena's list of pros and cons. I think that it doesn't reflect the "spirit" of well balanced review.
Strange about curves and bends, i talked to a nice girl who works in a Sony Xperia store and she said they had customers coming back with bent and pocket-broken Xperia Z2, so now they are informing all customers that phones of that size must not be carried in the pocket. Z3 ismuch thinnner, will it bend? For sure. As easily as 6+? Maybe.

Hi, I've read the review. Talking that some of the device have infrared port... moreThanks for your constructive comments.
- "What percentage of iPhone users would use mobeam technology? iPhone is a device for mainstream users, mobeam seems to me like a gimmick (maybe I’m wrong). Also, if review is mentioning lack of infrared as a disadvantage, it should also mention that there’s out of the box AirDrop technology in pros. I’ve never seen anyone using mobeam."
I agree that for some people Mobeam will sound like a gimmick, but I actually use it several times a week (some of the cards we use are common between my wife and I, so I just have all the cards on my phone, my wallet is a lot smaller, and we didn't have to ask duplicate cards).
I also have my phone on me at all times, which cannot be said for the cards.
I agree about Airdrop, though many Android phones have the same kind of feature out of the box as well.
- "You should go with your iPod Touch to local service center. I have almost 4 years old iPhone 4 – of course battery drains faster than when it was new, but nothing abnormal. Apple have different sales policy. They don’t sell original spare parts, batteries etc. You buy expensive, premium device, go to store or service center and they will change it for you. Replaceable battery means that device will have moving parts. It just doesn’t feel well built. Second phone in my house is Sony Xperia SP, back cover started wobbling around after some time (same goes with Galaxy S4 from work)."
I agree about the feel of the device, though some still manage get away with having a replaceable battery and still have no "wobbling" or creaking.
For the iPod Touch, I did go to a Apple reseller (we don't have Apple Stores here, so that's the closest there is), and they said that wasn't under warranty since it was normal that the battery gets worse with time.. I guess you don't get the same service from a reseller..
- "I don’t agree with it. There’s dozens of professional reviews and comparisons mentioning that it’s one of, or even the best phone camera solution on the market.
I agree with video part of statement (but will also mention that image stabilization on both 6 and 6 Plus is stellar)."
I was impressed by the quality of the pictures for a 8MP camera, but when I see the kind of pictures I can take with my S5 (and my S4 before it), I still believe it's ahead, though it is subjective I guess (check https://www.flickr.com/photos/tharkun/ for samples if you want to make your own opinion).
The fact that the HDR picture is displayed in real time on the screen is nice too (+ HDR video), and it takes HDR pictures instantly).
I also like having more options when taking pictures, something that is lacking on the iPhone's camera app.
- "Well it’s on the middle of the back, but you don’t see many talking about how Samsung should make Alpha thicker and give it bigger battery etc. Also not mentioning it in review is double standard. I also didn’t expect it from Apple, think about it as a design flop. But most of the people expects this kind of stuff from other manufacturers and tolerate it (that is also a double standard)."
For that point I agree with you completely.
