dextrlab, 12 Oct 2014Yeah! After all, its user's preference between the two platforms.exactly, 100% agree with you there...on another "note", the wifey is a huge apple fan but she couldnt take her eyes off the Note...I was suspicious of the metal band, but in hand the Note 4 is something to behold...I totally recommend if you have sometime this weekend, heading out to Bestbuy just to play with it for a few minutes...its pretty cool.
I like the 6+ too though, im between that and the Note 4...I just cant get over making sure I dont sit too long with the 6+ in my pocket...I'll get a case for it if I get a 6+ but then whats the point of having a slim phone?
dextrlab, 11 Oct 2014Where is the real world experience? Those app startup and loading times longer than iPhones? W... moreAll im saying is I've tried both in hand, the Note was the same, if not alittle quicker than the 6+. Ran the same apps, cleared all previous apps, they are both fast (dont get me wrong, the 6+ is def quick) but any lag being a huge con is overstated. Not talking benchmarks...just talking what I saw and experienced firsthand, literally in hand.
dextrlab, 11 Oct 2014Anyone can write a blog, but thats fine rather than a play store full of malware.straight from Apple:
why list dont manipulate as a guideline? Because they know it happens.
Here's another article from digitaltrends:
Yes anyone can write a blog, but when multiple outlets report on it and the Company has to come out and explicitly address it, its a concern.
malware is very limited in Play and their detection is quick. You would have to be very limited in your understanding of apps to DL them.

So everyone's happy.
I imported the Exynos version and I am amazed at this phone. The battery life is excellent (hopefully even better when L arrives!). Even at very low brightness setting you can see everything clearly on the beautiful display. Just discovered Autodesks sketchbook app (you get the full version as a free gift!) and sketching is unbelievably close to the real thing. Spen is a joy to work with. Worth every penny!
dextrlab, 11 Oct 2014LOL! What a hater's sarcastic reply. Its very true if only it beats iPhones in benchmark then ... moreNo it wasn't sarcastic I literally meant it because you made the assumption that I cared about benchmark scores. I never said that, you said that. You care about benchmark scores and you need validation for your insecurity of having invested in a phone only for another to come out and basically claim phone of the year.
now you can't brag to your little friends that you have the best phone now. I'm sorry you're phone dictates your self esteem. On theat NOTE, I've pre ordered this and guess what buddy.. I'll have a better phone than you. LOL
See how sad it is?
Have an opinion but NEVER FOR GET IT'S PLACE In your HEAD, and If I want your opinion ill ask for it. Otherwise why not try to contribute something useful the the comment section. Rather than the babbling opinion of some insecure guy/gal.

I agree with Thom, comparing the 6+ to the Note 4 is like a PC to a console...the Note 4 can do so much more than the 6+...If your in a pinch and need to get things done, the Note 4 will get you there faster. You can get thing done in the 6+ but the Note 4 does it quicker and lets you enjoy your experience while doing it (not having to switch between screens to get numbers...etc...)
"Performance is buttery smooth aside from a half a second wait when you tap the recent apps button (but probably just nitpicking here - the same task on the Nexus 5 running stock Android takes exactly the same rime)."
In other words, LAG!
