AnonD-204551, 16 Oct 2014$5k and up for an UHD TV? Maybe 2 years ago, but today you can get a decent 40" for under... moreFirst I'll say - Yeah prices have come down, but its still not enough for the average consumer in a world economy that is getting worse. Your typical 1080p HD tv's didnt start flying off the shelves ( around 7 yrs ago ) till 40 inch models were around $500.00..
But I want to make a valid point: Right now the "cheap" Name brand UHD models like LG are all smaller screens for the type of use. Selling 49 inch models around $1300.. with the 55 inch jumping to $1800 is still high for the avg consumer.
Here's the main point: The above models don't make UHD "worth it", IMHO .. In order to see that many pixels on a screen that small you need to be very close for a smaller tv.. or have a large screen further out.
This is why pixel density in screens is relative to use. Most experts agree a person with 20/20 vision will be hard pressed to see over 400 dpi at 10-12 inches from your face. They can see subtle differences, but it gets hard to distingiush certain colors like red.
A typical 1080p smartphone screen is viewed at 12 inches and has a higher dpi of 350 to 500+ .. Converse to that a 1080 HD TV is viewed at 5 to 10 feet and has much lower dpi of 150 to 200 ..
I've noticed some UHD TV 4k screen look like shit up close anyways.. I wouldnt buy a "smaller" UHD 4k screen.
If you're going to get a UHD TV thats "worth it" you need a 70 inch that really takes advantage of pixels spread out over a bigger viewing area.. a 79 inch UHD 4K screen is still around $6 to $8 grand for the time being..

A phone is still a phone and changes won't be too drastic.. they'll be subtle changes..but changes none the less
Any news on the Note 4 being delayed in the UK? Tried calling Vodafone today to order it but they said it has been pushed back to the end of the month...
AnonD-78671, 16 Oct 2014What's wrong with the Note 4s graphics performance? It's very poor compared to even the Note 3...on screen test for device with QHD screen still poor now because higher resolution display need more GPU power.
LG G3 and Oppo Find 7 on screen test have the same situation with QHD screen
Like Apple, Samsung design is getting boring. I am a fan of Samsung, but I am looking forward to their concept design. A tablet that folds including the screen (fold-able screen) or the one that rolls out. If they could curve a screen upto one edge then why not make a screen from end to end. Zero bezel pone. That would be great!
One more sleep until Samsung Galaxy Note 4 UK launch day ! Please be delivered at 9 a.m. please please please DPD please......
AnonD-319762, 15 Oct 2014An issue I have with camera MP's is who needs it ? Only a pro photographer IMHO and they won't... more$5k and up for an UHD TV? Maybe 2 years ago, but today you can get a decent 40" for under $1000 and a nice, curved 55" Samsung for $1800.
Some people put too much emphasis on camera megapixels, that is true, but I wouldn't want anything lower than 10MP. Remember, you might keep these photos for decades, so don't you want to see good detail in the photos when you're showing them to your grandkids on their SuperUltraMegaHD retina-implants?
What's wrong with the Note 4s graphics performance? It's very poor compared to even the Note 3...
is there a chance You'll test the Note 4 with Exynos CPU? I wonder pictures are on the same level or not, thanks
Bogus NOTE 4,

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2014Why are you going around spreading miss information and doing it repeatedly? And that... moreAnother great comment dude, bang on the money again, from my understanding 8MP is the minimum quality you can view on QHD, so if you go higher to 16mp with a bigger sensor you can zoom in and crop photos without losing to much sharpness and detail, this is why the lumina 38MP phone takes such fantastic photos.
one day to go until the uk launch of the sgn4 woohoo woohoo woohoo woohoo! !!!
AnonD-319762, 15 Oct 2014In your case this is good. I though have never had issues zooming in on 5Mp from my HTC - I d... moreWhy are you going around spreading miss information and doing it repeatedly?
And that person that said great comment bang on the money to me was not replying about the camera.
And what you are continually trying to say is that just because our screens can't show full size 100% of a large detailed photo means we should accept weaker photos.
Just because we are not all professionsl photographers means we should all settle for cr@ppier cameras.
And yes that is exactly what you are saying.
And when people gave good examples of how that's not useful you try and act like they are wrong.
Why is common sense so rare????
AnonD-319762, 15 Oct 2014Wheres the link ? Cant post the link cause of spam protection on this forum, but google "note 4 blind camera comparison"

AnonD-319762, 15 Oct 2014The lowest MP cam in a smartphone is 5MP...
The point is at what point does anyone realize ... moreeven its a marketing tool... still gn4 cheaper than iphone 5 in my country and compete price with other flagship android
i guess MP camera dont make anything pricey at all, thats benefit to us as a costumer
Another mobile tech site just made a blind test of the photos taken with the Note 4, iPhone 6, Z3, Note 3 and some other phones' cameras. Guess who won by a long shot? Two hints, not the iPhone, not the Sony. Remember, it's a blind test, so people who votes didn't know what photos belong to what. Bottom line is, just buy the Note 4.
