I am doubting between a Droid Turbo or this one, which camera quality is better? Also, do I need to expect hardware issues on the Z2 Pro or not?

The phone is very good and has no more heating issues than any other SD801 based phones. There were a few units which got a bit more hotter than the rest, but the same has been addressed either through the software updates or though replacements. Mine which was a launch day purchase never got overheated. With regard to price, MRP means that its a price set my the manufacturer above which a secondary retailer cannot sell. Also, the price in India is actually cheaper than its price in china itself (45k in china). This is just to compete in the Indian market.

I got this phone for 270 euros on a 15-euro per month contract. The Note 4 was 615 euros, the Z3 544 euros and the iphone 6 493 euros.

This phone is immensely solid, thin and easy to handle for its size, has a great screen, very slick operation, and can be switched to stock android, although the Lenovo UI is fine. The standby battery life is immense and as I actually spend most of the day at work and not on my smartphone, I find that I can go 4-5 days without recharging.

If you're some spoilt student with money to burn and nothing to do all day but gawp at videos and play games, then buy the Note 4. If you want value for money, buy this.

Matta, 02 Nov 2014One important question (if some of the owners can reply): If you want 3G/4G on SIM in second ... moreAs far as the dual SIM version launched in India is concerned,no. The second SIM supports only 2G. As such, even if you insert a 3G SIM you will have access only to 2G

Phone seems over valued. Camera quality is also not so good. Lenovo failed to solve heating problem in this model also. Pl. Keep distance at least for six month from launching in market. Today it is available on flipkart only, mrp of the phone is- 34999/- it might be available in market after six month under 30k or other wise over valued.

Lg g3 is much much better than this on a little higher price but that is greate phone with great features. Camera quality is also best than this model.

My review regarding this phone is totally negative please keep distance at least six month and please don't but it in festival session. It is totally marketing, that the phone is available at flipkart only.

Response regarding replacement of handset is not upto the mark, lenovo service centre are in dark whether date of receiving the item or bill will be the date for doa(defective on arrival). It is quit disappointed that lenovo selling the item exclusively on flipkart as on today and they are confuse about the date for doa. If they have any method by which one can found the item defective before take it in hand. If any so, then i requested to lenovo to lenovo kindly let me know the method to be literate as i am filling my self illiterate by purchasing the item from flipkart.

I should appeal to all the interested buyer for this item that please read the lowest rated review of this item before placing order online. Because most of the companies playing game with the buyer that they first selling their product without showing the item and after purchasing if by one's bad luck if there is any defect then you must suffer with your patience and loss of time and money. Lenovo did not launced till dated the product in open market with demo peace.

Please please please keep distance and wait for arrival in the market and must demand to demo of the item. We all the buyer in the open market must call for a demo of the product, we are going to buy. If we do not act like then the list of user like me and you will rapidly increased day by day and the manufacturer and retailers will enjoy our money without pain.

update - people having the phone are facing the common problem of heating the phone when using camcorder but lenovo does not take responsibility of the faulty phones and they are trying to misguide the buyers. though, lenovo is leading company in i.t. field but in the sector of smartphone i feel that they are totally failure. i have updated my second phone received replacement from flipkart with k920-row-s137-141029 latest update received on yesterday, but the heating problem is still as it is. i don't think so that the problem of hardware can be fully sort out with troubleshooting by software. lenovo has to have all the phones sold out as on today and get them replaced after making revision of hardware. i have tried the app 'cputemp' for measuring the temperature and found that it was all time above 42 c and when i started the camcorder it reaches upto 62 c and just imagine that at this time some one call you then enjoy a good feeling of heat in the winter season.
i have finally approved refund by the flipkart and where lenovo did not replying properly and found that the management of the smartphone section is quite disappointed and disaster.
i would like to thanks flipkart for their great support and help. i will strongly recommended here to online buyers to buy the items from flipkart but before buying the item be sure that there are replacement warranty.

good bye lenovo for ever ...

update - 2nd 10/11/2014

lenovo failed to solve the heating issue after three updates release. It means that the phone have basic hardware problem.

one big disadvantage with this phone is *************************** THAT THERE IS NO VIDEO CALLING *************************.

Camcorder function result is not so good like 4k resolution.

UPDATE- III

Hi Friends,
Good News, Good News, Good News

Lenovo itself proven that they are trading the set on higher price. Lenovo recently launched a new mobile i.e. Vibe X2 the MRP of the producte is of Rs.26999/- and it is available on flipkart @Rs.19999/- 26% less @MRP, where as the Vibe Z2 pro is being trading exclusively at flipkart @32999/- and its MRP is 33999/- almost only 3% less @MRP. Dear Friends, it means lenovo making fraud with high end premier users. If any body had have legal background pl. let me know the concept of MRP and trading if lenovo realy making fraud we all the buyer of this phone jointly file a sue against this fraud.

One another thing is after passing away almost one month lenovo has not launched VIBE Z2 PRO in open market. And It may be possible that lenovo must not launch this model in open market due to its bad performance and failure or retailers must refuse their offer to sale the phone on margin @1000/- for multiple channel. Now, lenovo should launch same product with different to make the product unique with little changes and will charge more money from buyers. It means lenovo not making genuine transaction with online premier buyers.
