OK, so, there are comments on this phone being wobbly on a table top. If the wireless charging loop inside the phone is near the bottom, how practical will it really be to use a wireless charger? It seems like it would be balanced precariously on the base. Get/make a cradle adapter? I'd prefer to just drop the phone on a wireless charger at night. Definitely not a deal breaker, but a sad thing, I think.
Anyone try this yet? Can the reviewer, if they have a wireless charger, comment, please?
Amazing phone. Nice design and good configuration. I am going to buy this phone.
5.9" QHD screen
then why the hell only 3220mAh Battery.
Again will get crappy Battery backup like nexus 5.
does the nexus 6 bas always on voice control like the moto x and the active display also
Sgtguthrie , 31 Oct 2014It's really no bigger than a note 3 or 4. They have a 5.7" screen with capacitive buttons... moreBut while watching videos and games the entire screen is available for you.
we require a device like note 4 in 5 inch frame. that will be really awesome with stylus to write down stuff while chatting
It is very disappointing that there is no moto apps and features like moto voice, touchless control , double tap to wakeup etc in nexus 6.
How m I suppose to book nexus 6?
Does it provide fingerprint sensor
it's between this phone or the droid turbo...... i cant decide thoooooooo!!!
Imran Hakro, 30 Oct 2014Though i am being too impassionate to hold that beast in my hand, but i'll rather wait and see... moreI own a nexus 5. I do not think it has any problem at all. The battery is sufficient to run for a whole day with moderate to high usage of 3G,gaming,watching videos, listening music and taking calls. By whole day I mean 12 -18 hours that is a average time that a human being is awake.
Anonymous, 30 Oct 2014Oh folks... The ppi war has no end, and its obvious that its gonna just keep growing in number... moreLet's be factual, Apple does not innovate but plagiarise and then try to improve, then badge the result as innovation. HTC does innovate, creating something new and fresh....my take on things!

Also a bit too big, I want a phone that is out of the way, if I want something bigger I bring my tablet (nexus 7) along, or laptop..
i really disslike samsung, they are crap. BUT note 4 is a far better that this. Too bad, i was looking forward to this nexus.
Why would I choose it over Galaxy Note 4? The only thing that comes to my mind is software support but is it enough to beat SPen, multitasking and better screen of Note4? I don't think so.
Oh dear. You took screenshot of display's imperfection? It was an imperfection of the displayed content, child.
Anonymous, 30 Oct 2014I remember comparing the 326ppi iPhone 5 to the galaxy s4 450+ ppi. The difference was very no... moreYes you are right, it will be harder to notice the difference between FHD and QHD on a phone but on a phablet it should be easy to see the improvement, especially for nearsighted people QHD will have a significant advantage. Looking forward to see it with my own eyes but i assume this is Pentile, still good of course but not optimal.
Anonymous, 30 Oct 2014Oh folks... The ppi war has no end, and its obvious that its gonna just keep growing in number... moreLOL, 320 ppi??? Ahaha, i can see imperfections even at 440 ppi, and i have proved it by pointing out where to find them, then took screenshot and zoomed in for everyone to see it. No doubt we need QHD but for now i will refrain from QHD due to lack of GPU power. However i have heard efforts are being made to enable QHD displays to be run as 1/4th resolution (1280x720), where 4 and 4 pixels are grouped together. When phones already have 4k displays that technology may become a must-have for running 3D games.
But, you need reading glasses, your condition is called Hyperopia and is a genetic inborn defect in the eye where the eyeball is too short to focus on short distances. The condition can easily be diagnosed using the Jaeger type eyechart (not the standard one you usually see which is used to diagnose Myopia aka nearsightedness).

The difference was very noticeable. I haven't seen a QHD screen yet but I imagine the difference is less noticeable than FHD
