For other users beware to stay out of comments from illogical persons such as above otherwise you will be wasting precious time reading/replying when you could do something else(even going to bathroom for taking a piss seems more logical action than trying to convince the so called apple sheep).
You know what just go buy whatever you want, the commentry section is reserved for everone who has common sense and those who brought the item and wish to share their experiances with it ie in this section the nexus 9.If you want to share something logical, your gladly welcome but if want to promote/praise/demote apple this and that, galaxy this and that, etc then please move your ass to the respective comment thread of apple or samsung, etc. We are tired of hearing your crap.

The review doesn't mention any bugs and you don't have one because you can't afford one because you earn a very poor salary by some grey pr totem hired by Apple.

It's a compromise between the landscapy 16:10 and the portraity 4:3. It's close to the ratio of books, A4 papers and close enough to movies' aspect ratio (not very big black bars). It can be used either way (portrait or landscape) equally well. Too bad the only such device I ever owned (nook hd+) was underpowered.

Ipads are very bad for movies, Samsungs are very bad for browsing... As I said ... compromise.

I'd have picked this up in a heartbeat if it was 16:10.
It's a 'nothanx' for me with 4:3 tho.

Still looks like a fantastic tablet though even though it's not for me (although I was expecting this version of the K1 to annihilate everything in its path, bit disappointed about those scores actually)

Oh well.... maybe there'll be an even better K1 in a future Nexus 7 upgrade *crosses fingers*

4:3 ratio is crap for video and gaming, no Sd card, core features, no extra value...
                        Extremely expensive...
Except for gaming any other older cheaper SoC would do the job equaly good, and would cost less

Hmm.. Great tablet, but screen wise, still not even a close match for the Tab S 8.4, and since the display is the center experience and most used feature for a tablet, then the Tab S is still the best, and because it's still much much slimmer (since it's an 8.4" variant and 16:9 ratio), also much thinner (only 6.6mm) and much lighter (at 298 g), too. So, yeah.

The reason for this dimension is mainly for hand use, where navigation is done with the thumb and phone is mostly in portrait mode.

When you rotate your home screen on your tablet with widgets, you realise it looks junk.. (Especially the widget if they do not rotate the dock along with it)

16:10 much better, add more space top and bottom for the most required 3 software keys. The peasant Samsung does this most often.. after Google ditch honeycomb UI for Giant phone UI.

4:3 best for games / webbrowsing and virtually everything. And looks good in landscape or portrait view on the tablet.

This peasant brand n9 is using the dual core version of K1.

It cannot be compared to the tri-core A8X chip.

Thus comparing it with the dual core A8 chip seems more reasonable.

It sits between iPad mini 3 / iPad Air 2. But lacking max storage options, and is currently bug filled, and bad battery life.

When it comes to gaming, the performance of K1 however is nothing to yay about, because iOS is more optimised on updated games.

I do like the LED flash of Nexus 9 since tablets are very often used to take photos indoors but still have to admit that iPads does great in indoor lighting conditions, a reputation they do not share with Nexus devices. That leaves Nexus 9 as an expensive video player with an emergency flashlight, and due to the screen form factor it will give smaller video size than the Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet, which by the way has twice the battery as well, for webbrowsing that is, and for webbrowsing one would buy iPad in any case.
