darkraver, 03 Nov 2014This tablet is crap...battery life horrendously bad....What dope are you on? ,,Naturally, we put the Nexus 9 through our own battery test. The tablet managed almost 12 hours of video playback and close to 10 hours of web browsing.,,
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2014Avoiding the A8x chip. That one will destroy K1. A8 is good comparison thou.Yeah A8X is beast! Funny how 2 cores CPU (A8X and K1) blow away quad and octa cores processors. So all these years Apple was right not jumping on crazy cores race. Cheers.

That one will destroy K1. A8 is good comparison thou.i think they still need some research for ipad air 2, that's why they not release ipad air 2 review yet
i'm sure gsmarena will release comparison review between these two beast
Do not like the look of the tablet, front looks like a wide Nexus 7(2013) and a metal frame from Nexus 7 (2012).
Will buy me the Sony Z3TC.
AnonD-326248, 04 Nov 2014I don't understand!? Why gsmarena didn't compare nexus 9 with iPad air 2 instead of iPhones??!

The Galaxy Note 4 feel unwelcome in benchmark department with such a crash against Nexus 9. Well done HTC.

Who's idea was it for the ridiculous stupid 4:3 aspect ratio?
DUM DUM DUM DUM
They should of have it at 16:10 ratio which is perfect for a tablet screen just like it is for a notebook (laptop) screen.
Idiots at HTC crapping their pants because Apple gets a cut of every tablet that HTC make for Google.
So there is a
moto g tablet would be better....for now ipad is the best my respects to htc / google nice tablet but u know wich is better..
Its ironical how they criticize ipad's screen aspect ratio and now they decided to use 4:3 also. I hope android apps should be optimized to this aspect ratio and screen size rather than stretched from mobile version.
Very nice audio chip quality. This would be my choice if I ever bought a tablet for some reason.
AnonD-239468, 03 Nov 2014Best Android tablet at the moment period.
That 4:3 screen looks gorgeous! And lollipop's mate... moreIt lacks both sd slot and multi window functionality. It's limited as in ipad limited (which is not a "good" limited), but as it seems that the few things it does, it does them excellently (again, very much like ipad). So it's in the strange position of being both meh and excellent.
If browsing, gaming and watching videos is all you do, this tablet is top notch. If you do more there are better choices out there despite their weaker hardware. I have to concede though that this is a beast of soc, the first Tegra that truly impresses me...
I spent most of 2013 hoping Google would release an 8 inch tablet to follow up the original Nexus 7, but we got the exact same size (which I did buy and am using now), and now that they figure 7 inches is too small, they went overkill with 9 inches. It's a fine size to rival the ipad air, but they need an 8 incher to rival the ipad mini - that's the biggest size one can comfortably hold a tablet in one hand in, and it needs to be closer to the 300g mark.
apertotes, 03 Nov 2014First of all, a compliment: thanks for adding aptx profile information to your reviews! You're... moreThey miss out other tests for devices available in US only, why can't they just wait for the device to become available in EU, or update the review after EU availability?
I am so getting this one, waiting for this beast for a long time. Btw nexus 9 is listed coming soon on playstore in india so fingers crossed. :)
The Nexus devices are very critical for Android world, why did they give the nexus half baked review ?
First of all, a compliment: thanks for adding aptx profile information to your reviews! You're the best!
And second, there is nothing in this review about wireless charging, which the Nexus 7 supported. I guess that the lack of mention means that the new Nexus 9 does not support it. It would be a shame.
