Have been using this camera since FEB....excellent underwater quality pics ....also it works with all android phones using 4.4.4 or so..
I have tried it with Grand 2 and its working fine.
Best part is you can carry it while doing water sports activities.

I have a QX-100 and while it doesn't belong to the same category, it works in a similar fashion... and I love it, specially since the QX-100 is able to shoot great low light pictures without the use of flash. (some basic photography learning required)...
Anyway the Sony QX-100 is not an action cam, but it is definitely a great portable external camera that works wonderfully with your phone...
This camera segment is being filled by Sony / HTC / GoPro depending on your photography needs... Semi-Pro / Semi-Action / Action-Sport...

Although it is not a revolutionary gadget, it would have wide applications. I will buy it if supports Sony or Nokia phones.
