People are still talking about what a shameless direct copy Galaxy S was and it will still be a topic for many years to come. Its just fitting that Lenovo does the same, they have not created anything useful on their own, thats why they had to buy ThinkPad and now Motorola. Really, people who have experience with laptops know this very well, lenovo laptops before Thinkpad was so mal-designed and awkward and poorly built, for example USB ports would be spread out on random where it was easy to put them for the manufacturer and never mind what the user may think of it. And youll see the same in their phones, quite ridiculous, they really needed Motorola so badly.
Lenovo, stop copying the design from xperia Z series!
do any one know when vibe x2 jbl speaker will be available in market?
Samsung copied Apple's design on the first Galaxy S series and nobody cares. Lenovo does the same to Sony and everybody's complaining about it. Honestly, I don't care if it copies Sony's design language, this phone is just beautiful.
A really nice phone. Different concept.
The display at 50% brightness is way brighter than other phones. Hence the low battery rating. There are a lot of options though to fine tune battery usage.
And it's not the same price as S5 or pricier than G3. At least in India, this is for ~$320, S5 is for ~$510 and G3 is for ~$620.
they should have made it up to 8.5 mm thick and increase battery capacity to at least 2500mAh. But anyways, they have the 2300 mAh xtension available on flipkart, overall a very good phone from Lenovo
Mikolangot, 18 Dec 2014Lenovo here in the Philippines were expensive because they think filipinos are 2 s2pid not to realize that lenovo is already a china brand.
Looks like xperia z series, even the name is same z2
This Chinese cellphone look like my z2... Chinese company alwasy copy from others
Anonymous, 18 Dec 2014Sorry, but these look like SONY XPERIA cell phone models from back pictures! Sad!!! Oh come on since when rectangular design is sony exclusive design it's not patented by sony right? so.. and now it seems that any phone design are being accused as iphone copycat..even though iphone 6 is copying htc? and next when samsung released galaxy s6 with full metal body some idiot would accuse it copying iphone too! lol
Lenovo is basically an overpriced Chinese clone. I've had one of their flagships and one is enough.
Build quality is generally below that of the major players. Specs look good, but performance is spotty and worse, updates are few and largely meaningless, Lenovo pushes a new model and abandons the old ones, even if a few months old.
I'd look elsewhere.
Anonymous, 18 Dec 2014Sorry, but these look like SONY XPERIA cell phone models from back pictures! Sad!!! I can see the resemblance. A rectangle with a screen on one side and a camera module on the other
Nice looking handset with good specs. Crap battery though.
When I saw the picture of Xiomi Mi4 in alternative options, I thought it was an iPhone..
Lumia 930 user here.
Lenovo here in the Philippines were expensive
