I'm excited to see how Windows 10 (for phone) will perform for daily usage and also with the integration of other devices.

I like wp because I don't need to type for search (Cortana). Don't need to type for message, taking notes. Even for calling or open any apps. ( no need of Cortana just long press search and talk to open apps. Etc etc

Windows phones are very secure. Android and iOS toys are very easy to hack. And windows 10 for phones will be revolutionary.

S77, 19 Feb 2015I want buy lumia 930 or sony Z2 phone, but I do not know which OS better windows 10 or android... moreOf course it depend on your usage. What's your phone will be used for?

For enterprise use, either WP or Android is fine, but check your company policy. Some company prefer distributing app privately, which will probably favors Android for ease of distribution. Other will probably prefers WP if they already have Microsoft-based enterprise suite (server, outlook, sharepoint, etc).

For entertainment, I believe Android is better because it has more apps and games.

For casual use (phone, sms, email), either one is fine. If you attached with Google ecosystem (gmail, drive, maps etc) you'd probably better go with Android. But if you prefer MS ecosystem (bing, skydrive, cortana etc), then Windows Phone gives better integration.

S77, 19 Feb 2015I want buy lumia 930 or sony Z2 phone, but I do not know which OS better windows 10 or android... moreMy choice is Z2 (water and dust resistant). Android is more powerful than WP but little bit laggy. You can download from PlayStore Launcher 8 free, and turn your Z2 WP-like. Launcher have lots of settings and runs on power-Sony well but not that well as on HTC. Android with Launcher 8 (free or Pro version) is like a Wndows 8.1 on desktop PC with Classic Shell.
I have many Androids and WP phones and for me WP is too "lightweight". If you want a simplyer phone, by L 930.

Its a matter of preference to me a windows phone like the 930 or 1520 I have seen the note 3 and 4 and have owned a note 2 but my 1520 replaced it and I don't miss nada other than tv-out, all OS are unique in their own way and I tend to miss the windows start screen once I try another platform.

Raj, 19 Feb 2015 my question was on basic phone features.. which phone u r using? android or window phone? ... moreI don't agree that those are 'basic' phone features but I agree that they should be available by now.

Android has all of them for a long time and now is improving other areas like user experience and resource consumption.

However, I still want to see how WP10 keeps up with, or even moves beyond, other OSs. I am still a WP fan deeply inside hahaha.

Anyway, I gave up with iOS. It has too different mindset and too many things I don't understand.

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015It is better use icone instead of tileReally?? I think what I like most in WP is its live tiles. I bought Lumia 925 particularly for trying this feature. However, its lack of supported apps and non-intuitive start and setting menus forced me to sell it. I also had a problem with playing songs through bluetooth headset, which I use every day.

Hope this WP10 will be better executed.
