I will not use Phone OS for my business unless they provide me the source code.
No need to be open source tho.

As long when I make agreement with Phone OS company, they provide me source code.
The purpose is to fix any issue immediately without depending on their support, which usually take weeks or months.

Missing features here and there is expected, not even the office is launched, and that's why MS. is looking for public FEEDBACK to accomplish yet another masterpiece.

I myself don't have any other windows phone devices and the things in my phone are just so important for me to lose, so I don't wanna enroll to W10. I conclude that this preview is not something for you. I'd suggest you wait for another 4-5 months until final release available.

vas1, 18 Feb 2015On windows 10, does it allow ring +vibrate? On wp8.1 I know it doesn't. I need this feature.I'm using 8.1 and my phone vibrates and rings when receives calls. try to press volume button and tap "arrow" thingy, and tap on the vibrate off / on.

            man, you sure are absurd.

only suggestion from me, whole screen wallpaper like this one, adjustable tiles transparency and keep the slow-scrolling of the image background like 8.1 ... I can't wait for office app. Windows phone really rocks this year.

The only thing lacking now is how the new OS can be used by businesses.
This is what made them successful starting from Win 95 until now including the servers
This is also the same thing that made them a failure with Windows 8, RT and 8.1
If the new OS (Win 10) can do the same thing as what businesses currently use and into mobile, they will take the lead.
So far, it is Apple iOS who is in the lead as their OS is applicable for both Mobile and Desktop. This is also the reason why some businesses use Apple from their DB/Servers down to the Front end machines.

I am not a MS fan... in fact I hated their subscriptions...
But I don't get what's with all the hate and complains when both the Title and article contents say "PREVIEW"
It ain't the final version yet

                            Are people getting dumb nowadays?
If not, they should mention things to improve... not complains

AnonD-347284, 18 Feb 2015android OS is much better ,windows OS cant even come close. You also have to change your mindset as that of the working group or business people....
Have you tried Android for connecting servers? I don't think so...
Have you tried Android for presentations?
No because MS PPT is still the fastest way to create presentations on a whim without lagging or failing
Have you tried Android for doing work?
                                I don't think so

I think the target of MS now is for the consumers across all markets which is larger. Hence, they are now changing MS Windows by being able to adapt to any lifestyle or purpose.

For you to say Android is incomparable to Windows is like comparing apples to oranges in this sense.
Android is better now in terms of mobility but it still cannot replace the functions of a laptop or a desktop unless the Android Community or Google can generate such apps that can do all things that a Windows Laptop and Desktop can do

What's the buzz around that wallpaper thing ?? I don't understand why MS is struggling here .. They should simply align their tiles to widgets characteristics .. so that tiles can be arranged in any size and at any position on the screen ..

Other than this .. Windows 10 does look interesting to me !!
