darkraver, 08 Mar 2015Really not intend to bash, but looking at that hand holding S6 edge in landscape...how not to ... moreSamsung has that covered, holding phone or touching it with your palm won't trigger the screen. Seriously you think samsung makes device like that and not think of that.

if it's iPhone, nobody ever complain about not having micro sd card slot and removable battery. But if it's Samsung or other brand, people will protest like its the biggest mistake. I don't understand people these days. To me, everything have its sacrifice. I'm sorry if I offended you all. I never meant to start a war. It's just my opinion. Thank you

Second most people will not be paying full price. They will be spending 200-300 on contract.
And even if they paid for it outright does not mean they can blow 800 all the time.

And adding the large data plan on top of that is a lot more to constantly dish out and is ridiculously and outrageously over priced.
Large data plans are not very large in all actuality and hundreds of dollars.

How is apple using Samsung designs Samsung copying apple?

The iphone 6 looks like a Note 1 and Ativ with the shape and rounded frame.
The bottoms only look similar because of the rounded frame apple copied and copying the headphone and speaker on the bottom.

Samsung had phones with headphones on the bottom at least 2 years before apple. And phones that had bottom speakers since at least 2009.

What do you expect them to do? Change their designs just because apple used them? Put the charge port, headphone jack, and speaker grill on the sides? Use squared or triangle shaped frames and speaker holes?
Not use plastic cutouts for antenna performance???

Sadly on the S6 the battery is fixed and it doesn't have microSD slot.
Very good camera, but I hate its limitations...

Can we please stop talking about it? If you don't know about the good alternatives, just stop posting.

Pictures and apps are default to my internal memory for fast operation.

Spare batteries are VERY useful. You get full charge in a minute than waiting for HOURS. You still wait an hour with fast charger.

Everyone seems to be arguing over the battery and SD slot but don't realise that these are the sacrifices that had to be made to excel in build quality. I think it was a good choice in the end because if they stuck with plastic, I doubt there'd be an S7 next year...

Isn't that what we think abou... moreI don't know if you really believe that or are just trying to defend samsung due to fanboyism or something. This phone is a high end phone. It should have a micro sd card slot. Many people like to keep their music on the mobile. Some people like to keep full seasons on their mobile so they can watch on the go. Google drive always need active internet connection to use. And unfortunately most ppl dont have unlimited mobile data. And even if they did, Its still not acceptable because the battery drainage due to Mobile data is way too high. While having a micro sd slot can give you practically Unlimited storage if you keep lot of sd cards. I don't see single advantage of no sd card slot vs yes sd card slot.

I have my phone memory filled with apps and games. Without sd card i cant even take Pictures.

Isn't that what we think about our SSD on our laptops? It does take a while to fill up a 256 gb one, assuming you aren't a video producer or what not. Majority of people who will own a S6 are people who owns computer, plug it in, transfer, done, problem solved. You want your stuff on the go? Just download google drive into your computer and see your stuff there, it isn't that hard.

What will it take people to understand the engineering behind the design of the phone? I guess everyone that bashes phones that can't remove battery or expand memory are too narrow minded that they can't see where phones are heading. Phones are getting slimmer, faster and better. Most flagship phones are released after extensive test, and judging from HTC and Samsung, they are listening to majority of customers and of course, you just can't have it all. Like seriously, why complain about the phone? If you don't like it, then get something else. Not willing to accept the change? Well its there to stay.

                                      Lets talk camera here.

Samsung re-enabled app data to sd and had full function of SD. Most others at least had full communication with SD. Sadly some could only read files off it.

And just because Google is doing this does not give a good reason to take the features away and OTG is not an excuse.
