Which is getting totally ridiculous as smartphones nowadays are something totally common and not exactly a thing to brag with
i wonder how people will react when the s6/edge sales prove the general public are less anal than the whiny kids on these boards.

with SD card:
16GB = $11.90
32GB = $17.85
64GB = $23.8
That explains why Samsung needs profits on SD cards by having $100 for additional memory on S6 in trying to pull up declining profits.

It is convenient in many ways. Personally it's not a deal breaker not having microSD but if a phone doesn't support USB OTG and Direct transfer when using with PC then for me it's not even worth to be called a "smartphone". This is probably the basic reason I never considered getting an iPhone.

This is a stupid move from Samsung - to remove SD card slot and replaceable battery. Doing away with replaceable battery - I understand. It was a choice between old design (admittedly with an unique advantage) which was critized heavily Vs new design which was kind of forced on them. But doing away with SD slot - the significant advantage over idevices. Very hard to understand why Samsung wants to lose a weapon on their armour. This is not going to bring icustomers to Samsung in any case. S6 sales will teach them a huge lesson and possibly the start of Nokia level slide into losses.
"HTC already has one even if it didn't have a camera to make proper use of it"
It's up to the user to make proper use of a manual mode not a camera. Blind ignorance at it's finest.

Yes OTG is useful, but should not be a forced replacement. And cloud is anything but the same as having swappable physical storage that fits right in.
Yes the newer much faster and more efficient storage in higher amounts is great. But should still have a slot to go with it.
And the USB 3.0 would have greatly benefited.
I don't want to bash or something, but seems like that iphone toy doesn't deserve a place in the incoming final review of S6s

People who say lack of sd is no big deal totally lack common sense or/and self-respect; OR are corporate shills.
So i have to pay tons of money for more expensive internal money and not only that, but i have to do it again with my next phone? Cloud? Sure, cause it has so much in common with physical storage, which is for real-time usage, while cloud is for backup. Your logic: Why eating breat when you can always drink Soda"? USB OTG? Sure, cause it's perfectly comfortable to use your phone with a usb flash hanging (And it's especially "comfortable" to plug/unplug every time you need to charge your phone. Which can be more than once a day. Which reminds me an external battery should also be plugged to it..)
I don't know certain, but I believe the egde model will be a good seller, unless the price difference is too much.
It won't be anywhere near of apples iPhone, but let Sammy care about that that.
Excellent product this edge... The regular I don't like that much much

And I use almost all its space. So, unless they sell the 128gb version here, it's useless to me. But they won't sell it here. Only the 32Gb. I'm praying they don't make the note 5 without a card slot.
GS6 Edge is clearly THE BEST and THE MOST BEAUTIFUL phone in the World. And not only the best, but far ahead of the others.
But with no SD support and no removable battery open the gap , that if some other OEM makes high end phone with those features, will steal most of the existing Galaxy users(they are not fanatic as the Apple's fans). Or many of them will stay with GS4/GS5/Note3/Note 4 and will not upgrade.
I don't believe that many iZombies will jump on the S6/S6Edge wagon no matter how much, MUCH BETTER phones are . So Samsung might be in trouble again.
Only making removable leather back version(we know they can) will save them.

SD is very useful when you have different contents to put in(for holidays, for job, taking big files from frends....)and no need to transfer it into the main storage or connect dongles.
Besides with 32GB version you don't need to pay $100 extra for 32GB more
So shut up.
The Lumia cameras are great, not so good in auto mide, but great manual control including RAW (work on that, Samsung!) and best centre detail. Where the S6 (and earlier Samsungs) beat the rest is auto modes, HDR mode, panorama detail and possibly most important: lens quality throughout the frame. Their corners are much sharper than those from Lumia's and even iPhones. Video detail is also class leading. iPhone falls well short here and the iPhone videos always have the same yellow veil, just like its pictures (possibly trying to fake "golden hour" shots). Even the S6 stabilization now seems to beat any OEM implementation (which Instagram stabilization is not).
