Well, can you stop repeating same and same, without reading my comment??? Please!
I've said, that this review is made on NON RELEASED YET device. I've said also that S5 before the first updates AFTER the release DIDN'T have same battery life as now.
What is so difficult to understand my point????
Bet on that S6 battery life will be better. No way back.
I am so much surprized on those people wholike samsung,so much cheep compny, having no innovation, copy maker and sold their product only on markiting bases, their best innovatin is amoled, plz try yourself a hd video in s5 with sams video in xperia z3, x-reality must b on and then see the huge difrence, xperia gives you fantastic an stunning detail, and s5 miles behind

Fast and wireless charging are great if you happen to be near a power socket but irrelevant if you are not. Its no good having a really pretty phone with a wonderul screen if your constantly worrying if its going to die on you before the end of the day. That was acceptable even two years ago but its 2015 now and users expect a phone to last more than a day even with heavy useage.
Just received quotes for the standard model which stated that I would need to pay £44.50 a month plus £100 upfront for the 64 GB model with 4gb of data. Didn't bother asking what the Edge would be but I guess it wil be over the £50 quid mark. IMO asethetics of the phone are secondary to the functionality of the device as I would obviously buy a case for it.
Based on funtionality alone this phone seems pretty poor value in comparison to previous models, no expandable memory, worse battery life, no waterproofing and the camera isn't even as good as the one in the Note 4 in certain aspects. I think I will wait and see what LG and Sony come up with over the next couple of months. If anyone seriously wants this phone I would recommend waiting till October/November as the price for the Edge version may have dropped significantly by then.

Well Samsung did it now. But not "all the way" as you said.
Yes, Samsung made us mad with no removable battery and no SD support. But battery of S6 is good and will be even better with the first updates(it has happen same with S5 before)
Display, camera , SoC , memory.....leave iPhone6 in the dust too, so how could you say "all the way"???
BTW how could you even have guts to come with your Xperia here???? LOL lol lol
No water or dust protection
Rather pricey at launch, including really steep memory upgrade premiums
No user-replaceable battery
No microSD slot
No FM radio
No stereo speakers
These are dreadful disadvantages for a priceyupgrade. Come to think of it s5 or a7 can still match it.

S6 battery is good even now(read the article) and better than iPhone6.
Remember how S5 also didn't have such good battery before the first updates????
S6 is not released yet.
Bet on , that after the release and first updates will have even better battery life than now.
Making review before the release is nothing but US iPatriotic move.

All the phones , even your iCrap, before the release are not optimized, and after that get update. GS5 before the first software updates had not so good battery life like now.
BTW: Even now S6 has better battery life than iPhone6 though.
The only potential rival to S6 is iPhone 6, so I guess that's the reason why Samsung has abandoned the removable battery and the sd card slot.

Samsung seems to have copied even the crappy iphone batterylife
Keep on dreaming
If Samsung is trying to convince us they're going all-out 'reboot', minimizing hardware for aesthetics and are serious about wireless charging - why didn't they just remove the USB port as well?
... maybe it's time for the S6 Active to shine??
Piyal, 16 Mar 2015It's a fail. If s6 was better looking than iphone or htc m9, than the removal of sd card slot ... moreI'm late to this huge comments list 'party' but I agree with the principle of what you're saying.
If they were prepared to sacrifice all the hardware benefits they've omitted fromthis device in order to achieve a more 'premium' feel - with Samsung's pricing, competition and sky high expectations - the last they had to do was better the aesthetics of the likes of HTC & Apple. I don't believe they've achieved that. Maybe the Edge does but I can't convince myself that what they've done is enough to justify this device bring a good idea and a success.
I could be wrong - time will tell!
Keep up the discussion people! :))
What I don't like:
1. Poor battery life.
2. No SD-card
3. Glass on the back (was a failure on Sony)
4. Again we get bloatware no one cares about. I wonder when this companies will get in their "heads" that we don't rent devices/software but buy them. I don't want a devices to spy on my habits, cloud sync my personal files or to act like targeted advertising; and eat my battery in the process.
Lastly, as a personal note, I don't like the design.
