And as stated the Note 4 already provided these claims b... moreBrowsing time consists of on screen time and modem energy consumption...
Iff that is the logic....this exynos sucks bigtime in energy consumption
Choose one word to describe the Samsung Galaxy S6. Gorgeous. Powerful. Special. You better damn believe it
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2015That is far from what you have been saying and you just completely side tracked on what I call... moreSorry, too many people (or perhaps just you; dunno since you're anonymous, sorry) replying so I have to discuss many things. Might have got sidetracked.
Yes, the performance of the SOC is great. It's phenomenal.
If it's what you care about, great. But personally, I find that after the SD800, for the moment, the difference in everyday tasks is only a few milliseconds, and seldom, seconds. This is even more so in the SD810 phones of this year.
I just thought people would care more about hours and minutes of having a phone still running than being able to open and run things slightly faster.
I guess it's up to everyone's needs. Sorry if I was too aggressive with my opinion
Hahaha..., 15 Mar 2015No memory card slot, Non-replaceable battery, No water proofing, Very pricey... Sure, they want... moreExactly,
Not to go to deep and mention that Apple already have beaten them with lesser hardware, lesser ads and in the meanwhile they have managed to be the top phone manufacturer with just 1-2 phones..... go figure.
[deleted post]Attack? When did I attack someone? All I have been doing is replying to people who replied to me.
Would you please point out my bias and misleading info?
Perhaps I'm wording things wrong, but as far as I know, I only state something that is present, or in this case, isn't present, and explaining the cons of this?
Am I not being "attack"ed by people telling me that Samsung is the best at everything and I'm an apple fanboy?
AnonD-225521, 15 Mar 2015Yes, there are many things the GS6 has improved on over the GS5 and its competitors. I agree w... moreThat is far from what you have been saying and you just completely side tracked on what I called you out for about your undermining of the SoC and all it brings.
[deleted post]Are you referring to my Ferrari statement?
I'm not saying I'd not care. I put the original statement of 'sales matter more than what consumers want' by someone else in a different context to show them how ridiculous they sound.
Terrible story and date fate Samsung to come....
Won't say much besides:
Xperia Z meets iPhone6
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2015The display is better fact.
The SoC is much faster in cpu and faster in graphics, lesser powe... moreYes, there are many things the GS6 has improved on over the GS5 and its competitors. I agree with all the pros. However, I am merely saying it's not as good as it could easily have been, and there are some phones out there that are marginally slower, but include the missing features.
Yes, fast charging and wireless charging can be useful, but they will matter a lot less if one can have a battery that will last longer anyway. Charging is considered a nuisance whereas a big battery just means it'll last longer from an overnight charge. Sure, it'll be useful, but not as much as it would have been with a big battery as well.
ironbat, 15 Mar 2015Actually what's your point? will you ever stop criticising samsung. Me? I'll stop when I stop criticising every other phone out there.
I think it's our obligation as consumers to criticise and drive producers into the direction that is best for us.
For me, the two best phones are the LG G2 and the Xperia Z3.
They still aren't perfect because:
G2 - no expandable storage, quite a lot of devices (incl mine) have a display problem related to touch. Replaceable battery? Not needed on a phone with that good battery life.
Z3 - glass design makes it fragile, no IR port, quite big for screen size, similar to G2 but a lot more expensive. Same as G2 for battery
As a message to everyone, I am not a fanboy of any sort.
I can and will criticise everything.
Sorry if I am spamming and somehow wasting time online, causing the global economic slump.
Well this is crap. A glass back and a shit battery. How can they make a worse phone than the predecessor??? If this goes on I don't even want to know what shit the Note 5 will be.
AnonD-225521, 15 Mar 2015I agree that the screen will probably be better.
Are you sure they are better for the users? ... moreThe display is better fact.
The SoC is much faster in cpu and faster in graphics, lesser power consuming, and with throttle a good bit less than others. And it brings along with it Wolfson Audio DAC.
Yet because you are opposed to this device you pull the side track....Well it's only a little better. Does it really matter....
And fast and wireless charging are still useful regardless of battery capacity. That's just as bad as someone telling you that you don't need the larger battery or removable.
AnonD-374800, 14 Mar 2015Mico5 is a troll. He just keeps saying the same thing over and over. GSM can you please block ... moreUseful conversations?
I see his contributions as more useful than yours.
Listing negative things people may have to consider is more useful than basically saying "shut up and buy it because you're a dumb consumer and don't need to care about anything"
Would you not care if you bought a new Ferrari and it could only go 50km/hr?
Surely you wouldn't as they had to focus on the design to make the car sell, right?
AnonD-359663, 14 Mar 2015S6 has better screen, cpu, more ram , fast charging, wireless charging built in. Lack of micro... moreI agree that the screen will probably be better.
Are you sure they are better for the users? Marginally better processing and RAM performance? (Benchmarks exaggerate the difference)
Also, Fast and wireless charging isn't needed with better battery life.
I would much prefer storage expansion, replaceable batter (which "charges" your battery to 100% in a minute and water resistance for a lower price.
AnonD-225521, 15 Mar 2015Apple Fan? Really? I've only had android-running devices: Moto Defy, Galaxy Nexus, Optimus G,... moreI still have my Moto Defy running 4.4 on ART xD. And itt will be hopefully running 5.0 thanks to quarx!
m86k, 14 Mar 2015I disagree, until S3/S4, Amoled screens were dimmer and maybe other brands. But not since S5. ... moreYes, At 50% it may be brighter, but do you really use your screen that dim?
Everyone I know uses their phone at 100% outside and very bright even indoors during the day. So a 75%+ brightness equivalent on a GS6 would be or nearly be 100%, so battery life will not be that good.
Eh, maybe it'll be okay for you, but I am just saying this to warn others who may be like me and others around me
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015This makes me laugh and want to buy it more. Sorry apple fan. Apple Fan? Really?
I've only had android-running devices: Moto Defy, Galaxy Nexus, Optimus G, LG G2, Xperia Z3..
However, I know what Samsung phones are like from friends and family, as well as display units (I always go to retailers in malls to have a look around).
I dislike iPhones; I consider myself a power user who also likes to be able to customise their phone with ROMs and kernels
