ironbat, 15 Mar 2015Actually what's your point? will you ever stop criticising samsung. Me? I'll stop when I stop criticising every other phone out there.
I think it's our obligation as consumers to criticise and drive producers into the direction that is best for us.
For me, the two best phones are the LG G2 and the Xperia Z3.
They still aren't perfect because:
G2 - no expandable storage, quite a lot of devices (incl mine) have a display problem related to touch. Replaceable battery? Not needed on a phone with that good battery life.
Z3 - glass design makes it fragile, no IR port, quite big for screen size, similar to G2 but a lot more expensive. Same as G2 for battery
As a message to everyone, I am not a fanboy of any sort.
I can and will criticise everything.
Sorry if I am spamming and somehow wasting time online, causing the global economic slump.

Well this is crap. A glass back and a shit battery. How can they make a worse phone than the predecessor??? If this goes on I don't even want to know what shit the Note 5 will be.

AnonD-225521, 15 Mar 2015I agree that the screen will probably be better. Are you sure they are better for the users? ... moreThe display is better fact.
The SoC is much faster in cpu and faster in graphics, lesser power consuming, and with throttle a good bit less than others. And it brings along with it Wolfson Audio DAC.
Yet because you are opposed to this device you pull the side track....Well it's only a little better. Does it really matter....

And fast and wireless charging are still useful regardless of battery capacity. That's just as bad as someone telling you that you don't need the larger battery or removable.

AnonD-374800, 14 Mar 2015Mico5 is a troll. He just keeps saying the same thing over and over. GSM can you please block ... moreUseful conversations?
I see his contributions as more useful than yours.
Listing negative things people may have to consider is more useful than basically saying "shut up and buy it because you're a dumb consumer and don't need to care about anything"
Would you not care if you bought a new Ferrari and it could only go 50km/hr?
Surely you wouldn't as they had to focus on the design to make the car sell, right?

AnonD-359663, 14 Mar 2015S6 has better screen, cpu, more ram , fast charging, wireless charging built in. Lack of micro... moreI agree that the screen will probably be better.
Are you sure they are better for the users? Marginally better processing and RAM performance? (Benchmarks exaggerate the difference)
Also, Fast and wireless charging isn't needed with better battery life.
I would much prefer storage expansion, replaceable batter (which "charges" your battery to 100% in a minute and water resistance for a lower price.

m86k, 14 Mar 2015I disagree, until S3/S4, Amoled screens were dimmer and maybe other brands. But not since S5. ... moreYes, At 50% it may be brighter, but do you really use your screen that dim?
Everyone I know uses their phone at 100% outside and very bright even indoors during the day. So a 75%+ brightness equivalent on a GS6 would be or nearly be 100%, so battery life will not be that good.
Eh, maybe it'll be okay for you, but I am just saying this to warn others who may be like me and others around me

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015This makes me laugh and want to buy it more. Sorry apple fan. Apple Fan? Really?
I've only had android-running devices: Moto Defy, Galaxy Nexus, Optimus G, LG G2, Xperia Z3..
However, I know what Samsung phones are like from friends and family, as well as display units (I always go to retailers in malls to have a look around).
I dislike iPhones; I consider myself a power user who also likes to be able to customise their phone with ROMs and kernels

Apple at least make a technology simple and easy to use.
                    But Samsung blindly copy.

                    Don't introduced waterproofing,sammy copied immediately.
                    Touch Id same story.

They included the test shots from that pre-retail unit, not good. I hoped for a much expanded camera section samples, and comments, especially low light shots as you say.

You could not be more wrong about apple. Apple iPhone 6 is copy of samsung ativ s, and htc one m7 and m8. Furthermore all features in ios and iPhone have been copied from android, including nfc and swipe just to name a few.

Also apple pay is copy of Google wallet. The fact is apple copied SGH-Z610 and LG Prada and apple did steal names iPad, iPhone and ios.

furthermore no company is a parasite, but let me tell you apple is the one that copies. In fact headphone jack was moved to the bottom in iPhone 5 after Samsung moved had it in nexus s, among a long list.

Another fact S3, S4 and S5 are hardly medicore, their design is superior to iPhone. Touchwiz is not that bad at all.

The fact is you seem to apple fanboy, who makes up incorrect facts and believes them. might want to take it easy as you are very angry and want to troll and bash Samsung with made up facts.

[deleted post]I love the USB OTG feature on my note 4 for transferring files BUT it simply isn't a substitute for a micro SD card.

You can't comfortably watch a movie with an adapter and USB stick plugged into your phone.

I have had 5 Samsungs in a row now (S2 and all the Notes) but it looks like Samsung is starting to take their customers for fools (much like apple). Less features for more money.

I simply won't buy a Note 5 without an external battery and micro sd card.

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015The best selling Android phone was a fail? Oh because they thought it would sell more means it... more
Apple was the first to bring their touch based fingerprint scanner to phones. And you know what, the implementation was excellent and hassle free. It wasn't like the swipe to unlock bullshit in the atrix or gs5. I ask you this, why didn't Samsung have a touch based fingerprint scanner in the first place? Why did they even bother with a swipe based one? Because they're a joke of a company that thrives off theft as it was with the first Galaxy S to today's GS6

The names/trademarks of iPhone, iPad, and iOS were absolutely unheard of as in no one was talking about them, knew, or even cared about what these things were until apple put a product behind these names.

The difference between Apple and Samsung in terms of copying is one takes things that fits into its design language, the other one looks at who's number one and makes sure to take notes. One legitimately leads and the other follows. In this sense Samsung is a leech, a parasite, thriving off of someone else's legitimate work. Now that is infuriating.

We know Samsung's design language, look at the GS3, GS4, and GS5. Look at touchwizz. That is bonafide Samsung, and it's mediocre and disgusting. The shame of all android. They are, first and foremost, not designers. What they do well is make good hardware components, that is all.

Likewise, people who support this shit are disgusting. But that's just the way the world is, lots of terrible people sprinkled in with some truly decent ones.
