The SGS6 has many compelling features and of course predicts the features that the next Note will have.
I'm disappointed about the battery life as well as no SD support (128gb internal storage is great but a lot of carriers in the USA will likely not carry the 128gb version).
I will definitely not be buying this phone, however I'll wait and see what the Note 5 has in store.
If anyone from Samsung is reading this please do the following for the Note 5
1. Retain the removable battery (one of the cardinal reasons I only buy Samsung phones).
2. Please retain the SD support or make the 128gb available on day one on all USA carriers (I currently have a note 4 with 128gb micro SD card and I'm already running out of space)
3. Please make the phone much thinner and lighter than the Note 4
4. Would be nice not to have a glass, fingerprint magnet back like the Galaxy S6.
If the battery is disappointing and or if I can't get 128gb internal storage (in case SD support is removed), then it pains me that I will not be getting the Note 5
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015Yes @30fps, it's written in the review.Yeah... nice upgrade from the s4.. 64gb would be perfect.. most of the people in the world uses their phone for point and shoot listen to music on the go and of course call and text.. at home you have ur computer and music players for that. . So even though it doesnt have replaceable batt its ok.. if you want to have best battery life you buy the z3 plain and simple
[deleted post]Most of these points are wrong
- Snapdragon same as the Exynos??? Have u seen the benchmarks
- Also the battery is dependent on the user, not this review
- Front Camera is much better than that of the S5
I have been a loyal Samsung owner through the years and I was going to buy the Samsung S6 but with no removable battery I would not even consider it. I also prefer plastic (resilient and light weight) to a phone that looks like an iPhone. Why are people so in love with metal and glass? Most people put covers on their phones anyway.
The slow motion quality finally looks decent but still wish it records in at 480fps at least for nicer slow motion effect though. Hmmm, wondering why there are no low light samples, this is one of the more exciting upgrades of this camera.

finally.. the battery performance just average..huh. Samsung need to learn from this.. better processor dont really give you better battery life.. they should add 4000mAh battery instead of 2550mAh.. I usually dont like to charging my phone at least one day of use. It a bit annoying really.. how about others?
no one, 14 Mar 2015its a good phone on paper but in reality its not that great: 1.amoleds-inevitable burning col... moreBlinded by marketing, you must be talking about Apple. The amoled screen story wont wash here anymore, millions apon millions of us have had multiple amoled phones and NO burn in, 5 no 6 in this house right now from the jet phone right thru till the s5 NO BURN IN. Trolls awayy
Love this review. Reminds me of an article made for the unique Nokia N9 features in the blog section a few years back.
Hats of to the one writing it :)

Pitabread123, 14 Mar 2015 Check the 360 degree picture. Display turns very green when turned to the right unlike the Note 4.lol seriously ?
Don't you see that it's not representative of the display but it's made for watching the phone globally?

Also thanks for the review GSMA, you made me laugh with your selfie samples :)

The article was written very interestingly. Had a project zero kind of flare. Haha.
All in all a heck of a device. Some compromises made and some surprising outcomes as well.
Tied with the Note 4 for best display, beastly SoC, SSD like memory, great design, to notch audio output that having will probably do wonders for, great camera processing with great low improvements, and lots of software refinements.
However the battery life taking almost a 20 hour hit really raises some eye brows. Midst of the new parts are supposed to be a lot more power efficient. They display is rated at 20% more efficient than the S5 and the Note 4 did amazing on battery.
The SoC is 14nm and supposedly 30% more efficient than in the Note 4.
The new storage is supposed to be overall more part efficient.
DDR4 ram is supposed to be more power efficient.
And it was supposed to have been confirmed they combined all or must radios on a single chip that supposedly is extremely efficient compared to the past.
And battery capacity is only 250mah less.
And they say the speaker is quieter. Meanwhile Samsung claimed it 50% louder and tests have already shown it is definitely louder.
And taking away batch operations is not smart in any logic.
AOW3, 14 Mar 2015Not as bad as I feared, but battery performance is weak. My job does not always allow much tim... moreIf you look carefully at numbers, it looses already 10hours of talking time to S5. So i think there's some non final firmware or something need to be fixed before retail.
