Silly test. Not all benefits of the camera comes to the details in the cropped samples. I feel that S6 camera is a winner, because it is not oversharpened. Sony sensor does the job. And what about dynamic range and other tests??

And the Panasonic C1 that came out last year is the best photo taking phone. Yes even better than the 1020 and 808.
I never said it wasn't good. Just not as close to the top as you want to believe.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2015The 930 is not even the 5th best phone camera. It was among the best when it came out.

[deleted post]I pointed to the reason for my conclusion, which is the tendency of the S5 and the Note 4 to blast out bright areas, while losing detail in dark ones.
I also have had first hand experience with both the S5 and the iPhone 6+.
The Note fans here seem to offer no coherent argument to show why the Note images are better, other than "you are blind".
Spent your yearly allowance on the Note and now must defend it, eh?

And the S6 has the wider F1.9 aperture.
So what does that have to do with the sensor?????? And if I'm not mistaking wasn't the Sony one newer too?
AnonD-7433, 20 Mar 2015You're not blind obviously, duh..! But it seems like you have cataract of some sort. Because h... moreThey think that the iphone 6 camera is the best. Don't see where the S5 has advantages though mostly loses in low light. More so probably to do with software.
And don't realize that the Note 4 has the overall lead.
And even believes that the 1020 and 808 fall very short in overall picture quality.
In my opinion: Galaxy S5 is better than S6 and Note 4 (in light conditions) in terms of collor accuracy.
Galaxy S5 > Galaxy S6 > Galaxy Note 4 > iPhone 6
But in low light conditions...
Galaxy S6 > Galaxy Note 4 > Galaxy S5=iPhone 6

But it seems like you have cataract of some sort. Because how else can you explain the wrong conclusion you get in a somewhat obvious results of the pictures being compared. IPhone 6 pictures are nowhere near the quality of the Note 4's. You definitely should get your eyes checked, immediately. Because fanboy or not, good eyes still can't lie can they? ;)
this proves how samsung's ISOCELL sensor is really inferior to the one samsung uses in the note 4 and s6.
AnonD-376923, 19 Mar 2015incomplete test without xperia Z serieswhy? so they can humiliate the Z series?
You included the iPhone 6 but not the Nokia Lumia 930 which many consider to have the best camera on a smartphone!
This is more a challenge to sony for the Z4, it's a bit embarrassing that other manufacturers can make your own sensor work better than you can, especially when sony has been making such great cameras for much longer than Samsung.
AnonD-266350, 20 Mar 2015u r sooooo pathetic dude & really blind 2 . the iphone 6 was so bad & there is no comp... morehaha... u r right.
that is using the camera for the first time I guess.. So blind apple fans....
