AnonD-373549, 31 Mar 2015If it is a human error, I have no issues...this review seems to bring up htc or to match up to... moreNo. If you read the review they show that the S6 has advantages in sunlight, color accuracy, and sharpness. Just don't actually declare the winner.
Which I think they just accidentally forgot.

Supposedly most tested models of the S6 in pre release are using a newer and less efficient designed modem. Though it would have to be terribly inefficient to be the only culprit.
And actually many other reviews show much more promising results.
I don't get it.
-The display is 20% more efficient than S5's.
-The SoC is more efficient than the Note 4's and supposedly S5's.
-The DDR 4 ram is up ot 50% more efficient.
-Their UFS storage memory is claimed to either be more efficient, or need more power but overall more efficient by getting tasks done much faster and efficiently.
-They used an all on one chip combining the radios which is claimed to save up to 80% in efficiency though I really doubt 80%. Maybe 40-60%? Especially looking at the results. And I don't think this includes the modem.
And the battery is only 250mah smaller. With all these dramatic efficiency gains how is the battery life this much less????? Is it the modem? Is it unfinalized software? Both? Just not making sense.
If it is a human error, I have no issues...this review seems to bring up htc or to match up to s6/edge! not even in the final words they have mentioned the advantageous of Samsung in the screen category! which is one of the most useful one for any customer.
AnonD-373549, 31 Mar 2015be fair gsmarena, why didn't you select a winner in the screen category? you tried to save htc... moreNow that's a fair and factual comment. I said the same thing earlier.
There is always a winner in the display department and it's one of the biggest advantages Samsung has.
Maybe they accidentally forgot to add it in? They are only human lol.
They did select the winner in all other categories, but not for the screen category! screen is one of the most important ones to choose a winner overall.
Both htc and samsung fail in 2015 both battery are down and this is the first thing that should be improved
AnonD-367182, 31 Mar 2015Please GSM arena, be fair. On 1st page u mention that battery capacity of HTC larger than Sams... moreThat is how every comparison review works. They list what specs advantage each has over the other. And then in most cases specifically state that you have to see the review to see if the results match the numbers.
This is how it's always done. Is this your first time ever reading a review here?
be fair gsmarena, why didn't you select a winner in the screen category? you tried to save htc there! S6/Edge screen is the best in the market to date with super accurate colors. it is proved that M9's screen is the worst from htc in terms of color accuracy, you can make it out through those pictures...it is the coldest(bluish) screen from htc.
any, 31 Mar 2015Suddenly, a micro SD card isn't really important for gsmarena although ugly phones like the ga... moreSd slot is listed as an advantage in the first page for the M9.
It was one deciding factor of the design. Not the whole picture.
And there is more to design than what material you like better or what device you think looks prettier.
Please GSM arena, be fair. On 1st page u mention that battery capacity of HTC larger than Samsung, in fact the endurance is better for samsung. means samsung over htc not htc over samsung.
AnonD-39775, 30 Mar 2015"samsung galaxy s6 over one m9" section is full of useless gimmicks 1-Bigger scre... moreI accept all the facts except the last one. If you're afraid of cancer due to electromagnetic waves, you shouldn't use sim cards in the mobile phone which is responsible for Radia waves which too cause cancer. Anyway, wireless charging is only useful if the socket is far from your bed (if used to put you phone on charger when you're sleep).
AnonD-264433, 31 Mar 2015I m no way a samsung fan..always an HTC and Sony fan...but I knew the results after reviews..a... moreNo doubt the Z4 will be the only great contender to the S6.
And I hope it will have OIS finally too. And improved processing. They might also be using their newly designed sensors.
Though they will need a sizable battery to really take any leads this year.
I'm really surprised with the battery life of the S6. They used a more efficient SoC, display, ram, memory, and all in one radio chip.
Supposedly one culprit is the korean version having their new self made modem which is not as efficient as the Qualcomm one.....But how inefficient would it be to offset all the other largely improved parts????
I also expect/hope for the Z4 to retain it's lead over the One in speakers.
AnonD-209094, 31 Mar 2015I already tested the S6 and i dont understand where these reviewers found the socalled premium... morewell that's your opinion. and apparently, one that is far off from those of well-respected reviewers. what does that say about you and your opinion?
I m no way a samsung fan..always an HTC and Sony fan...but I knew the results after reviews..actually I am surprised.. I was expecting a bad defeat in from s6 ..but it was good fight from m9..this time Samsung really got a good design..and Qualcomm harmed HTC on Big time in case of battery and performance and So lack of ois...these are the biggest issues with m9...hope z4 will do better with first time ois in Z series..
AnonD-209094, 31 Mar 2015I already tested the S6 and i dont understand where these reviewers found the socalled premium... moreSo they used one of the strongest metals being used in a phone. Used two GG4 panels which survived some brutal drop tests. And made it very slim and sleek with great colors behind the glass.....
But because it looks like Samsung it can't be premium? That's logical.....
And then you compare it to the iPhone 6 saying the i6 looks a lot better.....Which the iPhone 6 heavily borrows Samsung design cues in the shape and frame.....But again....claim nothing that looks like Samsung can be premium....
So what you are saying is that you only like all metal devices and will bash other devices based on this. And try and pass off your subjective opinions onto others.
AnonD-146024, 31 Mar 2015Too much fanism there. Even I didn't bother about camera buldge on S6 at first because no one ... moreYou indeed do show to much fanism here.
And again repeat the same illogical comparison of camera bumps.
And all camera lens are prone to scratches. Even the sapphire one. Though they are a little less prone. And very few devices at all have a sapphire glass over the lens.
AnonD-146024, 31 Mar 2015Ok. Got your fanism. According to you, S6 at 6.8mm is very slim but iPhone at 6.7mm is big fat... moreSo because I proved you wrong on something you were being bias an illogical about you now reply back to completely side track and ignore that I schooled you. And to scapegoat your fan feelings onto me.
And put words in my mouth as well.
Instead maturely realizing and admitting how wrong you were.
And no the iphone is not thick. And it is 6.9mm not 6.7mm. And again since you ignored and dodged it the point is the device is thicker. And the camera is placed in an area where it can use the whole thickness of the device. And has a smaller sensor.
Where as the thinner galaxy with a larger sensor and ois sits the camera behind the display where it does not have the luxury of using the whole thickness of the device.
I still however do not expect you to grasp this or stop trolling me now for hurting your ego with facts.
