OMG! Looking at its poor battery life and dimmer screen, I am wondering how much disppointing this year's flagships can get? Almost all of them are downgrades from their previous models in one way or another. I am utterly disappointed and feeling sad also.
Aaaanddd! As much as i hate to say this, I really have to agree that Samsung Galaxy S6 is the best flagship this year so far and the phone to beat. (Although surprisingly, even it is a downgrade too, at least for me)

I think this phone would've had a chance had it been bestowed with innards that compete with its ilk.

G4 s'battery is not that bad.
8hrs for browsing ,7 hrs video playback and 16hrs talk time.

Plus you can extend that time in just lesthan a minute.

That's the good thing about having a phone with removable battery.

This is about removable battery vs non removable battery.
having an extra battery for the g4 means you can extend your phone's life in just lessthan a minute.

Compare to s6's non swappable battery you have to wait for an hour to

They just bump out the best screen they can, and so what if batterylife suffers, as long as they market it for screen and camera, and people buy it for it...who cares about optimizations and better user experience?
They ask too much for what it gives, just as samsung for s6 does

If I, for example, say s6 having no sd card is no problem at all as you get an extra 32 gb micro usb with every 32gb s6 to solve that lacking feature that is bothering fans....
I would probably sound like a selfdelusional fan...

But whatever makes fans happy, if extra free battery is the solution that pleases...go for it

Read my points carefully. This is about how efficient the Exynos is compared to Snapdragon.

Note: GSMArena measures batterylife at 50% brightness.

G4 (at 50%) - 108nits
S6 (at 50%) - 208nits

S6 - 2550mAh
G4 - 3000mAh

Also consider that 808 is just like half as powerful as Exynos 7420.

So, looking at this it looks like LG G4 should have like 50% more battertlife.

For browsing:
G4 - 474 mins - 3000mAh = 9.48 sec/mAh
S6 - 656 mins - 2550mAh = 15.44 sec/mAh

Don't forget S6 is doing this with double brightness and higher performance.

For video:
G4 - 443 mins - 3000mAh = 8.86 sec/mAh
S6 - 732 mins - 2550mAh = 17.22 sec/mAh

Now, make your own decision. The facts give you obvious picture, it's not something to argue about.

LG G4 boasting about their new QUANTUM DOT display
which is nothing but SONY's TRILUMINOS Display which
Sony has been using for yearsss.....
LG fans stay calm . .
what a pathetic battery life . that's what you pay for the useless QHD .

SONY is the undisputed KING of battery life . . with 2days battery life .

This is actually a good review.

The Display is better than last year
One of the best right now
The camera both front and back are amazing
The design (leather back) is good looking
The Swappable battery and expandable memory is great idea and very practical in daily usage....

The processor might not be the best but its more than enough to satisfy your daily works.

Battery is become better on browsing and overall its a good.
Plus you can have an extra one.

All in all Bravo LG!
I made my final decision G4 is my next phone.

LOL so this is LG's flagship mid-ranger.

The camera is indeed nice, maybe better than S6 (can't say, will wait for comparison review).

The display is extremely over-saturated. It has temp of 8000+ K and that's not oversaturated GSMA? Nice!

The battery life is 'wondeful'.

The built according to GSMA is top notch. Yeah sure, I know how LG phones are built, this is no exception. If someone thinks adding a leather back strengthens a device, then I will not say anything but smirk.

As usual, an LG phone.
