This review is based on an early release or pre release build. I have this phone. The front camera is the best i have seen on a phone. The rear camera is AMAZING, resolves colors better than the S6 but IMO G4 and S6 rear camera are on par. Its too close to call. Even though the G4 beats the s6 in low light. Battery life is not even something you should worry about. Trust me the battery life is not bad at all. Def better than the s6 edge. We compared both phones under exactly the same usage and the G4 is more efficient. The s6 throttles alot when it starts to heat up. Both great phones but the G4 does it for me. The slight curve and the leather back will definitely make you stand out from the crowd. Contrary to the details of what are in the box. There was a really nice pair of red and black quad beat headphones in the box coupled with the extra battery and cover. Four days now and The phone has not even stuttered for a second. Even while installing apps in the background. Dont let reviews push you away from any device. If you know someone who owns one, borrow it for an hour or few minutes. Reviews are not always right. Every retail box i have seem comes with a pair of quad beat 3 ear plugs, in red and black. Apart from gaming where the G4 loads a little slower (2-3 seconds depending on which game). The LG G4 beats all other devices in opening apps, web browsing and every other activity.

1 year value is $600
within 6-8 months it become $300
Why don't they sale at a basic price to break competition? keep price range like Nexus devices, Xioami or One Plus One.

My Xperia Z3C actually does get 15 hours so with movies @ 50% brightness. I can't see why the "need" for higher resolution and faster chips has overshadowed the most essential aspects of a mobile device. A mobile phone becomes less mobile if you're attached to an outlet every 8 hours...!

lol everything about the g4 is grossly inflated hype. its camera isn't even better than the lumia 930, its battery life is piss poor, its quantum display is a notch beneath the note 4's QHD screen, and its gimmicky leather back is plain useless.
it's a 2013 flagship, period.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 201554hours is morethan two days so its not sucks54 hours are the endurance rating when tested with gsmarena program. Video playback last for 7 hours 23 minutes. It's almost impossible for this phone in actual usage to last more than 2 days without charging.

This is why I hate LG always cutting corners. Give us a bit of metal on your phone and include the dam charger. Same with there TV's the build quality is shocking!
