TannHauser, 22 May 2015S6 has so many issues that yes, you should say a lot more...What issues?
Besides a few nitpicks that I have since then fixed and the early battery life that's been improved a lot with the latest firmwares, I don't have any issue with my S6.
Anonymous, 26 May 2015It's just you. No sd and no removable battery are HUGE disadvantages. That is relative. I wouldn't say it's a HUGE disadvantage. I've never had to change my battery in the nearly 5 years I've owned a smartphone. And the microSD card isn't that big of a deal since I've never needed anything more than 32GB of storage. There are those who legitimately feel these two things are deal breakers. And there are those who don't. Like I said, it is relative.
Anonymous, 27 May 201554+54+54+....>82+ huge power bankThat isn't very practical. I shouldn't have to spend extra for batteries and power-related accessories when there are smartphones out there that have better screens, faster processors, and greater utility all with a single-battery life of almost twice what the G4 can muster. In this department, the G4 definitely disappoints.
And its chipset is subpar if you look at it in its totality. Of all 2015 flagships so far, the G4 is a flop for me. I wouldn't buy an S6 (maybe Edge), but I'd definitely consider it head and shoulders above this LG letdown.
Chopsticks, 26 May 2015LOL, who are you to tell someone they are wrong for the reasons THEY take the battery out of T... moreHe said PEOPLE mostly need removable battery because of this. Which is false. Not wanting to replace your phone after a year or carrying a spare battery (Or using an extended one) are the main reasons, although easy and 100% certain restart when necessary is also important, yes. Plus, privacy (The phone can spy on you even turned off, if the battery is there).
Anonymous, 27 May 201554+54+54+....>82+ huge power bankBoth options are unacceptable. If i have to carry a power bank or spare batteries, then i'll buy a cheap crappy phone and won't spen tons of money to get...well, the same - a crappy ridiculous phone.
Anonymous, 23 May 2015Ohh.
Well, you're wrong, then. This is the last thing people need removable batteries for. Th... moreLOL, who are you to tell someone they are wrong for the reasons THEY take the battery out of THEIR phone?
I agree with the guy as it happens as the only rare occasion I have had to remove the battery on my S4 was it had frozen. Quick in and out of the battery and fixed.
LG phone looking good but not a patch on the GS6/Edge.
Huh!I can't imagine a better phone over my G2...! It's just me ? What a battery life...fast...and design..!!!!
Anonymous, 25 May 2015Getting my new phone... LG g4 or note 4?g4 is better than note4
smoother and faster performance
better camera front and back
real leather on the back
a bit smaller size more comfortable to operate
free extra battery
free32gb microSD card
support quick charger 2.0
a bit curved screen is better
mortuus, 24 May 2015lg sucks, they cant make good phones their battery times are a joke, and their displays are wo... morehahaha, ever used the g2? destroys every other phone in terms of battery life. get your facts straight
DemBoy, 24 May 2015Ohk tell you what.. Why don't YOU design a phone and let us be the judge.. hows that? Come ... moreMate, think clearly. Nothing in the wishlist that I mentioned needs an extraordinary design. Even for a compact 5.5" display, LG has already done it in G3. So tell me please, what is it in my wishlist that requires such an arrogant comment as yours?
I wanted to like this phone, I have a G2 and I suppose I need to upgrade (although the G2 still works really well). But how can I upgrade when the G2 has a GSMArena battery rating of 82h (with KitKat), and the G4 has 54h ? It would be stupid. If you use it with a smartwatch, bluetooth always enabled, I don't think it lasts more than half a day.
Anonymous, 25 May 2015Getting my new phone... LG g4 or note 4?...wait, this year is gonna be hot, just a few months: from Apple,Microsoft,Samsung,Sony and maybe others like LG,...
Anonymous, 24 May 2015How is bigger battery an advantage if that bigger battery in a thicker device has less battery... moreAbsolutely. I'd buy Note 4 or S5 over G3 any day. They suck too, including in battery life, but are still better. CPU? Well, taht's a marketing gimmick for brainwashed consumers (And not users). With moe powerful cpu i can do exactly the same thing AND do it exactly the same way i will with the "weak" CPU from a year ago.
The only thing that matters now with the CPUs is power consumption and heating. Well, that's exactly what current "high end" snapdragons suck at. MTKs, however, seem to be quite impressive, too bad the tandem industry+consumers is totally insane and lacking common sense.
Saurav Ghosh, 25 May 2015You can use 2 hours of OST on a 24 hour period or stretched over a 6 hour period! Don't see... moreYes i can, but i might need a rea, actual one day of usage. And that was my point from the begining. You can only "use" your phone in standby. Does that mean the phone provides a week of battery life just because you can achieve a week? No, the worst case scenario counts.
