'This time Apple overestimated itself'.
Isn't that what they were doing for years!!??
AnonD-44275, 28 May 2015Charge watch everyday ? No tnx apple, i have better stuff to do :)How long does it take for you to take off the watch and plug it in? LOL
I had a smartwatch few months back when I was trying them out, charging it was the least of my problems with them.
[deleted post]Wouldn't be much of a review if they praised everything even the points that needs critique? This is a review site. If you're only looking for praises... visit a fan site I guess.
Honest Observation, 27 May 2015eSke Rahn This guy needs a break, all he talks about is thickness of a watch which he is total... moreIf you turn off your own filter, you would see that I post that the technology to make a decent smartwatch is simply not there yet - any brand.
So anyone that can't wait, should buy the cheapest they can get, as they ALL will be laughing stock in a year or two anyway.
But yes, when a manufacturer deliberately lies, or should we say 'misinforms' I find it a pity when the false and not the correct information is used in a review.
It is even more just a s misleading as when compact camera manufacturers post the products thickness ignoring a non-removable lens....
Cheating the customers to believe the product is better than it is, is seldom something people try to defend...
These smart watches would've been more attractive if they weren't similarly priced with phones. You could even get last years flagships for the base price of some of these watches...
JUST SAYING--my Samsung Gear 2's can hold up to 3-4 days with regular use. I play flappy bird and 2048 sometimes. My record was like 7 days of battery life.
And hopefully I'm gonna get the roundsmartwatch Samsung Gear A.
I don't see how the wrist turn gesture is a disadvantage... Also, the battery lasts a lot longer with normal use, around day and a half... The are two hardware keys, not one, and how it looks on someone's hand is also a disadvantage... The only disadvantages this watch has is that is way too expensive, ugly as hell, the iDevice compatibility, and the limited software customizability... And I still think smartwatches are crap... For now at least...
I wish GSMArena made reviews for the IPod touches. Since they did an Apple watch review now.
Wow, the battery life turned out pretty good. Much better than what everyone was anticipating.

It's not so much the functionality, it's the look. It's just an ugly watch.
They failed right out of the gate with the design--the digital crown isn't centered, and immediately breaks the classic watch look, making it look like a geeky gadget. Then they ship without even on stellar watch face that elegantly fits the shape. First things first, apple--it's a watch!
Problem is Apple released a 1st gen watch when the competition is at like 5th gen. Personally, I'm eyeing a stand-alone watch with built-in calling and data connectivity like the upcoming Orbis.
I apreciate greatly most Apple products but I will not buy this. I have a Rolex already, I can't really wear two watches, isn't it?
Not impressed, basically the same as the others. Still crap battery, only isheeps care about this.
eSke Rahn This guy needs a break, all he talks about is thickness of a watch which he is totally not interested in buying.
he spams all over the blog comments and now here too.
AnonD-366029, 27 May 2015This is the very definition of an unnecessary device. Pure status symbol. This is not even much of a status symbol as nice real (Swiss) mechanical watches hold the crown there. By a lot.
