And, yes, I prefer plastic too. But there are metal phones which are durable than plastic phones, like HTC's M series. Also you don't know whether S6 is fragile or not, just because some Sony Z series phone was fragile doesn't mean S6 is fragile too! At the same time, plastic can't generalise a phone's durability. Nokia Lumia use plastic, but they are extremely durable, but LG phones, I won't comment on that, I have always said they should get some reward for consistently making fragile phones, I mean my word they are consistent. Nexus 5 still being the king of fragile phones.
This is not subjective. More or less every sane person knew what would going to happen in this comparison review, after all these, still those cheap LG fanboys are going to buy a G4 and that's not the problem, they will go and say G4 is better than S6. Seriously, LG Corporation should start recruiting some psychiatrists too, cause their buyers need their attention very urgently.

Both phones are great, but the battery life and processing power are two very important factors in the face of updates OS, apps, productivity and multitasking. No one wants a phone that doesn't last on at least one day of regular use, or that its power can't move new OS versions or apps at 6 months of being released. Just for those two reasons I prefer the Galaxy S6 over the LG G4. The other features and functions are important, but not enough to prefer a less capable phone.

It's pretty tight. Id prefer the G4 as it suits my needs. Being a bigger phone with leather back is my style. But the S6 rox big time with the design. Pretty close. 51 S6 49 G4

I have both phones (S6 Edge and G4), both for at&t. The S6 definitely wins at build quality, benchmarks and brightness but in my opinion that's it. The camera on my G4 outperforms in daylight and dark scenes. The battery on my G4 outperforms the S6 by quite a bit, especially the standby time. In a 10 hour period of standby my S6 drops to 90% while the G4 drops to 98%. The G4 is much faster and more fluid when in use than the S6 as well. Multitasking is better, coming back to apps never have to reload (chrome for example) whereas the S6 was pretty awful at this. Maybe it will get better once my S6 gets passed 5.0.2 though.

[deleted post]As you can see it's not about mAh value, rather it's about efficiency. The LG G4 takes a lot of resources even during stand-by, that's why it can only manage a meagre 54 hours.

The only advantages of G4 are removable battery and microSD slot other than that S6 is lot better both in performance and battery life.

The fact that the s6 has better battery life and uses a smaller battery not just embarrasses the G4 but makes the s6 the winner, since the other categories are pretty much even. But hey if your at the top and the most popular, there will always be trolls and haters. Anyway good job lg and Samsung it's really just these 2 companies so far that did more innovation to their flagships compared to others.

Plastic (if i may say so) is one of the most durable materials out there. i once had an xperia z3 with glass and i regret having to hold such a fragile thing. all other phones i owned were perfect plastic phones which don't brake if they fall on a table

Why is the S6 a better one than the S5 which was plastic but much more durable and water/dust resistant? why do they think that a thin slab is better to hold in a hand than a curved phone? this is so extremely subjective that i cannot be written down as an advantage or disadvantage. this is nonsense and not review-worthy!

well, you did wrote more of it, bt for me both of them have just few advantages:
--LG G4 over Galaxy S6
* Expandable storage
* Removable battery
* FM radio
* Laser autofocus and Color spectrum sensor
* Optional leather back
--Samsung Galaxy S6 over LG G4
* More compact
* Faster chipset - more CPU cores and better GPU---aaah, MORE OR LESS important to me, G4 is perfectlly fine, but fact is S6 wins at this feald.
* screen with better sunlight legibility
* Better battery life (IS IT REALLY!?)
for me S6 wins just for the size, sice i really don't like phablets, everything else is even for me.

I'm very suprised with the battery life tests because many people who actually *used* the phone have said the LG G4 has better battery life.
