AnonD-359023, 15 Aug 2015It's the 1st time I'm calling a galaxy note as a beautiful device ;)Maybe because it looks similar to iPhone;-)
AnonD-57516, 15 Aug 2015If the Endurance for Note 4 (3220mAh) is 85hrs and you get an Endurance of 110hrs on the Note5... moreBut who dais the endurance will be that good. I doubt it a lot. It might be alloy the same or a little better
It's the 1st time I'm calling a galaxy note as a beautiful device ;)
If the Endurance for Note 4 (3220mAh) is 85hrs and you get an Endurance of 110hrs on the Note5(3000mAh) then am sure logic tells you that the new Note5 is much much more energy efficient and more value for money than the old Note 4.
Why can't negative ppl just wait for the endurance test on its battery life before commenting?
So let me get this straight. This is the new Galaxy Note? This is not what I expected out of the Note Line. I have owned all 4 of the Note device in the past and absolutely love them all. I recently upgraded to the AT&T Galaxy S6 Active and I can now say I don't regret it.
The Note 5 eliminates SD card support (I can live with that), it removes the removable battery (I can live with that "if" that battery was larger"), and to my suprise the only thing this adds over the S6 Active is a larger screen and 1gb of more Ram. Sorry Samsung but No, No, No.
I'm not sure what Samsung is thinking. If I wanted a limited device like this I would purchase an iPhone 6 Plus. ItS just ridiculous how Samsung is eliminating everything users love about Android Samsung device. The mistake was made with the S6 and now they repeat it with the Note series? I hope this device fails in order to get Samsung back to its roots and gives us what we always have come back for. Removable storage, removable battery, etc.
Disappointed. Samsung should've provided the microSD card slot. And downgrading the battery to 3000 mAh was a major step down. I am happy with my note3. Will not upgrade to this phone whatsoever. Oneplus 2 seems to be a nice option.
what don't you guys understand? Apple lives rent free in the heads of Samsung's top execs..whose only focus is to try and desperately lure away a potential iPhone customer.
The Edge is a great device, sadly it's the only good looking device Samsung has.
I need to replace my aging phone, so still have Note 5 on my consideration list. I can overlook no sd card and non-replaceable battery, but I can't believe they went with even smaller battery. S6 has battery life problem. What where they thinking putting smaller battery than Note 4. I'll wait until someone actually test its battery life. I currently live in a country you can't return a merchandise.
kakouille, 15 Aug 2015stop lying, you sound desperateKeep defending samsung '..
Provably Samsung will be annOuncing that it receiVed 20 million preorders by tomorrow;-)
Don't they have CAT 9 LTE?? thats what they said it had on the unpacking livestream.
I'm not a fan of not having no removable battery BUT that camera quality! I've zoomed in on all the photos GSMarena (NOT the samsung official photos ) and I'm blown away by the amount of detail that sensor captures and there is no noise at all! You really gotta wonder how Apple can get away with false advertising saying their cameras are better. Fine line between marketing and straight up lies - someone needs to get the FTC down on Cupertino!
well Samsung if u want to loose ur own identity n chase apple, u'll loose everything. I was going to buy galaxy alpha but no sd card was a deal breaker for me. u may have forgotten that it's us who bragged about ur galaxy s line for giving us options n control. we preferred the removable battery, preferred plastic over glass bcuz that's convenient n need less care, preferred expandable storage over fixed one. Samsung, u seem to have forgotten what made u popular among us. it's not the early days of android when only galaxy s series had incredible hardware, now a lot of brand offers brilliant phones, so naturally u'll loose us.
Note4 is already a great device and now available for mich lesser price so yes i agree samsung made this phone only to show that they can also make premium built devices..cheers samsung.
Anonymous, 14 Aug 2015Iphone copied samsung? Hmm. I didn't know the antenna design look existed before the iPhone 4?... moreSome didn't invent antenna designs. What do you expect? Samsung not use cutouts and have low signal?
Samsung used bottom placed headset Jacks before apple.
1000000 and 1 phones have bottom placed charge ports.
The iPhone 6 looks like a note 1 in frame and design.
While Tybee s6 is shaped different and has a new frame.
The lack of removable storage is a technical thing with controller chips and bandwidth management.
And using the sealed battery with new materials has to do with every troll and website hounding Samsung for years about how horrible and cheap plastic is.
So try again?
AnonD-364786, 14 Aug 2015better screen - agree , but not by a big margin. But if u compare it with G4, it comes to pref... moreNope. Preference describes what you like. It however does not override objective fact as a whole.
The G4 does not have the brightness, sunpight legibility blacks, adjustable modes, or lower power consumption like S6 and Note 4 have.
So because you never used a Note 4 you think you know how others do??????
Lol. You're talking about the app crash master aka iOS which has no phablet polishing and try and talk about Note UI which is most advanced in phablet offerings????
Oh yeah....you are again ignoring and side tracking the fact that what you said about asking about developers for note 4 or i6+ apps which has nothing to do with it. And that I called you out for it.
And no. I meant actual speed test benchmarks. Real life use. The Exynos Note 4 did things faster than the iPhone on many tests
