As hyped WATERPROOF tried once and it failed.
Service centres and
Sony India Care deny fault in the phone.
Instead blamed me for not using the phone properly.
Humble request PLEASE DON'T BUY.

asif, 23 Nov 201510 time better is m5M5 is better only on "paper",the a8 is 100 times better because it doesn't overheat a LOT and don't has extremly annoying shutdown " feature" + I think it's camera is 150 % better and don't has a microscopic led flash like the M5

Got my unit Sep 18. It's been in the service center for weeks because of shutdown issue. I hope this gets fixed soon. My phone shuts down and turns on again the next day upon charging after the battery is drained, perhaps? I had it fully charged, then, just using candy crush, fb or calls, it shuts down and won't turn on without charger. Used to open up within an hour but now, it takes up days.

marz, 16 Nov 2015my sony very fast overheating!!! regret always in the last,Dear friend if ur problem is overheating alone maybe you forgot you are handling 8 hearts 💕 at a time( octa core)...friction and fire has to be there..jokes apart.. Try clean master to cool your phone cpu...and preferably close unwanted functions which run in background...sometimes advanced functions do cause overheating like 4k camera,do optimize functions and flaunt where necessary,... All this is coz of the glass back cover...
