Anonymous, 11 Jun 2019Incresed yr brightness....u not faced any problem regarding flickering....I have the exact same problem..i can't use this with low brightness.Screen starts flickering.By the time I had to increase brightness bit by bit..and now my screen is on half of outdoor brightness mode..since this has a super bright display it heavily bother my eyes when im in indoor..how can i fix this?

My Final say ....been running Nougat 7.1.1 since 10.20.17, and I can definitely say it brought back new life to the phone. Battery last longer, boots faster, lots of improvements in memory, storage - makes you feel like its a high-end midrange. So far, only this variant benefited from this major OS upgrade. BUT, this Nougat 7.1.1 update did not come with some features like the 'Always On display', 'Smart View', 'Secure Folders' and 'Private mode', found on the newer J7 running Nougat. 'But I do want to mention this J7 2015 -all variants - no longer has warranty. So rooting it makes a lot of sense, go for it, no worries on 'bricking' it.

Samsung finally released Nougat update to J700T - downloaded it, update, and am running it as version 7.1.1. Does not have 'Always On Display' option but I do see new 'Ultra Data Savings' feature. Now that Samsung released this much anticipated and final OS update - will now root it soon to remove the bloatware and other stuff I do not need to free up space and make this run much faster.
