"It's more compact than the Motorola-built Nexus 6 (5.96" AMOLED)".
How is that when Nexus 6P has the same height as Nexus 6 while having smaller screen? Please don't tell me that it is narrower and thinner, because for any phone going beyond 4.8-5" display, length(height) plays as much important role in its pocket-ability as width and thickness. So again, sorry but no thanks.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2015You're not paying extra for Google you're paying extra for overpriced SD810, compared to Huawe... moreSorry, but Honor 7 has Kirin 935 not 925, which(935) is a newer processor and quite efficient. So yes, I am willing to pay even 10-20$ more for 3/64 GB Honr 7 than 2/16 GB Nexus 5X

5xforyou, 29 Sep 2015SD808+1080p = good performance ? Yes. It has Adreno 418 that is same old 420 rebranded for SD808.

Both 6P and 5X have poor camera performance in midlight room conditions looking on those samples. So lack of OIS is very noticeable. Large pixel doesn't mean more light sensitivity.

No wireless charging on 6P and smaller screen than on Nexus 6... No thanks, but the 128 GB storage does sound good.

I think that they made bad design(ugly bar) (huawei) so that their Mate S sells more and LG did it so their midrange sells more. Its a competitive world and google might have been forced to make compromise. My take is:
n6P should have 4gb ram, ois, water resistance, 16mpx camera, at least 4000+mah battery.
N5x Should have 3GB ram, ois,12/13 mpx camera, 3200+mah battery,
Not a good strategy on part of google as people expect good hardware(not dated ones) and comparisons with iphones/samsung/sony's/one plus two will be eminent

After this presentation for me the choice is so simple. Wait for a chinese brand to make a 6.0 Marshmallow phone. Imagine that a 64 gig + 3 gig Ram Honor 7 costs the same as 5X. Having a nexus is a great idea, but as I'm not willing to pay the extraprofit for Apple, I won't do it for Google either.

I was not sure, but now it seems like season of flagships in all-metal body begins. Not like apple was wrong in choice(it do not crack, feels premium..), just some people out there think that glass(even bended) is great in device that is always over 1meter+ above ground.

I strongly feel that google wants us to buy the bigger Nexus P. The price difference is very small and then that specification difference is unjustifiable.
The smaller cousin is just there to give us the slight nudge we need to speend 500$ on a nexus. Which, obviously, people are not fond of

nexus 5x design is a bit bland, and only 2gb of ram is disappointing. But, i quite like the nexus 6p, and controversially, i like the black bar. bad thing is, they both carry around a £120 price markup in the uk :(

I am totally devastated by Gorilla Glass 3 instead of 4 in Nexus 5X.
2 GB RAM is enough for me, battery is a but problematic, I accept it, but dude!
WHO PUT GORILLA GLASS 3 TO NEXUS 5X?
