Long day yesterday. I ve spent my day with the Z5c overachiever and it really did lived up to its moniker! I don't know if the Z5 heats up, but the Z5c doesn't at any circumstances!
I started my day with 1 hour of real racing 3 and WI fi on,that was the only moment the phone got warm, but not hot.
I ve been to a wedding, driven one hour with voice guided GPS and one hour to return, made over 100 photos there and a few video clips, had 3-4 5-7minute calls, all the while sending sms, fb messaging and viber messaging, returned again under the voiced guidance of the overachiever, never closed any app, never worried about the battery, i returned home with 32%
As for the Camera, the app is not opening as fast as i would like from the dedicated button. Picture quality is great, maybe a bit oversaturated, but it could be the screen, focusing is stellar, didn't miss its focus not even once in a hundred pics. I was particularly impressed by the zoom,if you go half way there, you don't lose any quality! Great performance overall! No issues to report!
Dual heat pipe is used in z5. But not in z5 compact.
So you can still fry an egg on your z5 compact.
the tech nerd, 09 Oct 2015Wow man , have been reading your comments , you are the only one spreading rumor of overheatin... moreHe is no hater, just not capable of differentiating SoC heatup from overheat...but as long as the term does the job...he's good...
Fortunately there are a good number of real reviewers out there which can differentiate...
Love this stories alike " bought the device, had to take it back after 2 days because palmburns, took 6s/s6 instead...its superb"
Just visit, pin it...troll feeding job done
Ale, 09 Oct 2015I know I know....I mentally prepared as best I could myself when I handed over the money :)Well, you should have at least used cpu-z to screen grab the overheating temp measures of that phone you had for, what, 1-2 days....
So, you know, just to have some proof of your claim, for which you came here to write about through 50 or so replies and posts...
But as long as you praise s6 and 6s here, it doesnt matter right.
Good act ;-)
Yogi , 09 Oct 2015Hey , let me know your opinion about the device .. . Take your time.... .!Ok, i will :)
the tech nerd, 09 Oct 2015There is no need to underclock this phone at all , I have been reading many comments about und... moreUnderclocking is used for more than just heat management. It saves battery. I can think of a number of solutions that would give this phone on lollipop EQUAL battery life as the Z3C on kitkat

I regret I ever posted my experience with the Z5 on here, which was all I was trying to do post my own personal experience, little did I realise that doing so would somehow personally offend a bunch brand obsessed sad weirdos, you people are beyond a pathetic joke and are in dire need of professional help!
Buy the bloody things for I care, I hope you are happy with them, but honestly and at the end of the day it really makes no difference to me.

Ale, 09 Oct 2015Yeah, I think under clocking it would be the best answer. it would be cool if Qualcomm came up... moreThere is no need to underclock this phone at all , I have been reading many comments about under clocking the phone but answer is that it doesn't need at all , the heating problem was treated by duel heat pipe and thermal gel , if some of you may have noticed that the a57 cores are clocked to it's full potential (unlike some other companies which under clocked the processor itself or by software optimisation) ,
Adiyel, 09 Oct 2015I think they did fine with the 810, better cam potential, faster more efficient RAM, better gp... moreYeah, I think under clocking it would be the best answer. it would be cool if Qualcomm came up with a hydrid of the two chips I.e. The Cpu set up of the 808, but the Gpu, Isp, and memory controller of the 810, they could call it the 809 or something. That would be quite a potent little SoC.
Too late in the game for that now though, guess we'll just have to see what the 820 brings to the table
I didn't pick up on the relatively bad edge sharpness of the Z5C compared to the Z3C as poer the compare tool. I love my Z3C, but I was hoping that the Z5C camera was better enough to upgrade. Perhaps not. Where is the smartphone under 5 inches with OIS, a good flash, and a solid sensor? Oh right, it's the Lumia 1020 and 925 sitting next to my Z3C. Argh...
AnonD-265341, 09 Oct 2015Just got mine, and its awesome

Tee, 09 Oct 2015There's no hope for these guys Ale, they talk from what they read in articles verses owning a ... moreand thre is definitely no reasoning with guys like you, or Ale...
dozen of reviews all over the web praise sd810 performance of z5 series, even mention clearly no overheating issues
yet the bunch of alikes like you...keep seeping your unbased falsified opinions here
But keep on, you guys are just too fun...
Ale, 09 Oct 2015But they are not exact, for the last two generations the Z Compact series have hit the market ... moreI think they did fine with the 810, better cam potential, faster more efficient RAM, better gpu, among other things. They should've just underclocked it.
Oh, and don't feel bad about the iPhone purchase. I'm against brand loyalty, and if the phone works it works. I started with a Samsung (the S2 slider version). It was awesome, great cam (better than my ZR), but the low res AMOLED sacked! Since then, I've been with Sony's compact phones starting with the ZR (the true first in the compact line), then the Z3C, and if trends continue, it'll be the Z7C.
Ale, 09 Oct 2015But they are not exact, for the last two generations the Z Compact series have hit the market ... moreI don't think if Xperia UI running devices need more than 2G Of Ram( on lollipops).... I had a Z1 running 5.02 and some social apps on top but the phone's ram barely got used 1Gb
